Ive got finals starting tommorow, and I got my schedule for next semester today and my government teacher is also a PE teacher so we have to have class in the gym.

"government teacher"?  arent they all government teachers?  or are you at some private religious or military school?

'American Government' is a class at my (public) school, and by government teacher, I meant the teacher who teaches it. Sorry for the confusion.

i was being facetious, but am still curious.  is that like civics, or do you actually learn about how the country is ruled and run?  like a critical analysis of the american state and political system?

Well, Ive been taking economics this semester, and after tommorows final its over. Then I start government, so I dont really know what it is, its a required class. I guess we learn how ther government works though.

i just read an interesting article: check out Mike Davis, "Dead West: Ecocide in Marlboro Country" New Left Review #200 (July-August 1993).  He also has a book called "Dead Cities" which i intened to check out soon...  the article was all about how utah and nevada have served as the american governments nuclear and chemical test site, its aerial bombing range, and its storage and dumping facility for plutonium, chemical and biological weapons, and toxic waste generally.  the article is pretty short and an easy read...   might give you some good essay material

Not especially stoked on homeless people shitting in front of my building.  It has a little cut that sort of hides you from the street they seem to enjoy.  homeless person poop is not normal poop either.  it's terrible.  i tried to get the cojones to clean it up, because it was stankin' up the whole zone, but i just couldn't get within a 10 foot radius without my SARS/ebola virus alarm going off.  Also, some asshole spraypainted a straight line across the entire front of my building with some cheapass black paint.  gotta love living in SF.

I heard some ruckus the other night, went on the balcony to check it,  and this guy that lives on my block had caught 2 dudes breaking into his car.  He was chasing them with a 2x4, and he banked on one of them in the back of the head so hard, i thought he had to have to killed him.  The guy got up eventually though.  Crime doesn't pay.

Same thing last summer flying to Van from Gatwick. It wasn't just gas either. Something was very, very wrong with my digestive system.

Competing in a short story write-off with some friends and my story is all about graphic homosexual sex, pedophilia, and blood, lots of blood.
