Extended wear laces

So i recently bought some of the Extended wear laces and theyve been great, through my 2nd pair of tiagos 808s and i was ripping through the top lace on heelflips on the reg laces almost every sesh. Only thing is theyve got this waxy slippery coating on them that makes it difficult to keep tied. There was a QR code to scan on the box that was showing how to "break them in" which probably had the answer to how to get them to stay tied but i tossed that shit in the trash thinking "there shoe laces, why do i need to break them in?" DURP

Those laces are legit. I've got a set of the regular black ones going into a third set of shoes... Coincidentally also 808s

I do a lot of stupid casper variations when I'm dinking around that absolutely murder regular laces and these last forever.

As for tying em, if you double knot them and really crank em down they stay tied.
