Already did - got 2 for that reason  ;D

So you're the reason shops are out of stock! Sick setup, would have loved to cop one for the wall.

Picking up a Craigslist Blind setup later today, the wheels and trucks are shit but it's a Ronnie Creager deck that I'm after. Always been a fan of his skating. I've got a beat up James Craig deck, would pay good money for a brand new one.

Putting a new setup together. The rest of it should be here Saturday. Usually run 54/55mm, wanted to try some slightly smaller 52s.

Couple pairs of Cons CTAS, enjoi Deedz shape and Film rails.

Yea i know, trying to get trendy. Cons felt good but can definitely see insoles packing out. Luckily i have box full of old insoles to try them with when that happens. Went half size down and they fit well on my wide ass feet straight out of box. Always liked really pointy boards but never had board this pointy. Also really enjoied Dwindle wood in the past and was curious about R7.

8.125"x31.7"14.25"WB Almost Gernoi Resin 7, w/Jessup (mellow concave/steep kick + feels a bit thicker tha the last R7 I rode)

Jury is out on trucks..8" ATGs or Theeve 8.18" - but I rolled my weak ankle right after ordering so I have time...

Shape is really 'normal' it's a round/full nose, so it looks like a big 8" / small 8.25" (duh)

Sorry to hear about the ankle. So-so experience with my ATG, the Maglights were way too light for me and I couldn't get the lofty pop.

Have you tried pairing Tensors / Ace / Theeve DSM decks and do you feel it helps with the already short WB?

I'm on the verge of buying an entire roll of Jessup griptape.

Just bought 2 pairs of Kalis Vulc, a little snug in a size 9. Got them at 33 a pair on discount, handing 1 pair to a homie.

Just bought this FA Gino "World" board. 8.18 x 31.73
Generally prefer small boards, but I'm going to give this 8"+ thing another try.
Now if only I could figure out if I want to use Indys or Ventures for it, I'd be good.

Buying a roll is usually worth it to save money, unless you get free grip when you buy decks.

It happens...I tweaked it skating and made it worse at the beach (not sure how).

I'm actually eyeing the Theeves/ATGs so I can pull in the WB just a bit more instead of throwing on my thunders (I don't have any other ~8.25" trucks to use)

Anything 32" or over wrecks my ollies; I need short decks and steep tails (I blame H-Street muscle memory - showing age :P - It's all rode until they wet under). I've got pop, without bumps, but apparently (according to a friend) I ollie fast, quick snap / suck up the legs to level out...I skate fast so the snap needs to be fast or I'll clip.

Tippy? Only on 55mm trucks (ATGs /Indy standards); said it before and did side by side today, Theeves are more like a 51/52mm truck.

8.125" and 8.18 theeves has always been my best rides.

Are they good? It's really subjective. Lots of fake Bones Reds, Super Reds, Ceramics and Swiss, but reviews are mixed. @GBLange said the quality difference was definitely noticable. I'm trying some $7 bearings, I mean most of the big brands already source their bearings from China, so it really depends on you find a seller who sources them from a good factory. I don't have my hopes up, but their stuff can surprise you.

Delivery timing is unpredictable, I'm in Asia so stuff takes 1.5-2 weeks, 3 week if I'm unlucky. The estimated times are like 20 - 50 days, so it's anyones guess.

Half Cab Pros and some Berles for about $62 from an outlet.

Berles are gonna be work shoes, I actually like them but I couldn't imagine skating them. Nice and solid for long days on my feet though. I want to skate the Half Cabs but they might be chillers, I'm scared to skate a vulc.

venture 5.2 lo hollows
boardy cakes benchwarmers 99a/48.5mm x 38mm

been pretty good with saving money so i decided to treat myself (while i wait for the venture drought to be over) to $100. going mad scientist on this one.

been switching hangars to see what length is right for me and i found 8.25-8.5 works best for my skating currently. 151s are nice and stable but my flip tricks work better on the smaller hangars. putting them to the side until i get to handrails and bigger shit to see if i still like em.

did the math and in theory, the combo of small truck with the super wide wheel should fit my current deck perfectly. trying learn some more nollie/switch stuff and im hyped to set up something low and wide to do it with
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Sick combo. I don't know how loose you skate your stuff but I put some of the 94 dlx (greens) in my 5.2 lo and it slowed the turn a bit and made them bite way less.

Bought this and some clothes really cheap at a pop up shop kind of thing.

Board is a 8.375 Corey Kennedy Girl Folded OG.
Wheels are slightly used Spitfire Demonseed 99d and I think they're 54mm.

Picked up another Prime blank, this one being for a kid I know so I went with the smallest they had. Kinda wish I bought another Handout shape too but nah. Their “mini” would make for a cool ride regardless of who. Really digging their quality.

Stickers too. Because you can’t ever have enough.

Stuff I purchased for being the tiny little local shop on my town arrived.

Insomnio wheels full conical 54x36x23 and 56mm with same dimensions.
Same thing for the Sunrise wheels which are 53 and 54mm
Some ABEC 9 bearings and griptape. Not a fan of graphic griptape but the fruit one is kinda cool + kids dig dumb shit like that cat with weed background.

Do you have a scarcity problem with griptape like I do? I just bought an entire roll of Jessup, after shipping I realized they sell it in pre-cut sheets by the box. And I have another 10 sheets of Mob grip coming too.
