Kalis and Appleyard super company ? ( Which never happend )
« on: March 17, 2015, 12:19:02 PM »
So I was watching the Kalis epicly laterd show . He speaks about back in the day He and Appleyard were going to start their own board company . Now it never happend but Kalis said several people were ready to jump ship and get involved . He never said who was gonna do it though

So a small theoretical thread about who would be on ?  whats your guess ?

Josh Kalis
Mark Appleyard

And Marquise Henry ?   since Kalis has been backing him for awhile . Who ells would be on ?

Here is the ep

Aren't Kalis and Appleyard the guys behind Bianca Chandon, Welcome, High School Dropout, Tired/3D and Mother? That was my understanding.

I remember Mark was hyping this out for a second. I think it's dead but it would be killer.

appleyard and kalis are two of my all time favorites, apples is more talented but doesn't produce as much anymore(is ok with me) , and kalis just keeps churning out qualitiy.
two very beautiful things.

He lives very well, he bought his brother a trailer, it's what he wanted, and I believe he bought his mom a house in the Caymans or Black Pearl Islands, or some island chain/group.

Appleyard, like Biebel and Wes Kremer, seems like he figured out whatever his version of "it" is a long time ago and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

Skaters like Appleyard and Kalis who get that it's more about doing your own thing and enjoying the shit out of it make me the most stoked to go skate. To see a pro approach it in such a laidback, easy-going fashion is refreshing.
