I've definitely attended my fare-share of good concerts so far. The one that stands out for being the best overall, well-rounded show would have to be Neil Young. He played acoustic, piano, and electric..plus he gave almost an hour-long encore, and a lotta people'd lefte so I immediately jumped up to the front.
Some other noteworthy shows:
-Yo La Tengo (always a blast to see them, Ira is onea the best, ever)
-Dinosaur Jr. (first time saw them at the Fillmore in SF, got tinnitus from J's 3 massive full stacks)
-Nick Cave (possibly puts on one of the best live performance that I've seen in a while)
-My Bloody Valentine (knocked off 'being in front row in front row for Holocaust Section' off my bucket list)
-Morrissey shows are always fun
Worst act I can think of that I've seen was Bob Dylan. Dude started early, we had shitty seats, was electric the whole time with his grumbly-ass voice, and ended early without encore I believe.
