would you recommend the highs or lows.. i understand the hate for lows, but it seems like everyone rides the venture lows

Go for the highs.

I think most people were on the lows because that's mostly what Venture was producing at the time. Highs are more readily available now.

i dig lows. helps my balance alot, can land sketchy as a mafugga and still be on the board. they wheelbite every now and then but bounce back up real quick so youll ride away from it most of the times. holds up good too aslong as you dont skate when its cold as fuck, baseplate will crack, just sayin.

Im a venture low kind of guy, they give you that extra pop you need. Con is that, if you have 53mm + wheel, wheelbite will be often

Lows, to me the highs seem like buying those new newport reds, you get newports for the menthol, otherwise you get camel or marbro, If you want highs, get indy

5.8s will be coming out later this year, which I think are 8.5" axles.

I rode the lows years ago but I've been riding indy 139s for the last few years. I'm curious how venture lows perform when they're loose? I've heard that they are designed to be ridden tight, and I can't get down with that.
