Getting to grips with front 50-50 on round rails, figuring out the cross-lock.
Have no desire to hit any handrails atm, flatbar would be enough hype for now
5050 on flat round is the best feeling and sounding.
Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiishink!
Have you tried no cross lock: over the heels for both front and back? It makes it more like you’re just Ollieing onto a ledge5050, but having your weight centered over about arch of your foot (where if you were barefoot and trying to balance on a round bar, is likely where you would balance the best naturally)
Get it!
(I’m actually trying to get 50’s again, too. Just trying to build up confidence in my front 50’s again to jump on a round flat bar and take a nice long grind like I see all the good skaters do at my local as a freaking warm-up)
*oh, if you can lip slide the flat bar (or at least get into one) you could try front smiths, too. If it slips out of smith, you’re doing lip slide, so it’s a pretty easy trick to get out of, and less chance of completely missing the lock in of the 5050.)
