This is a breath of fresh air for weekend buzz, especially after the abomination of an episode the Tony Tave one ended up being.
I sense quite a bit of arguing to come over the fakie Fs flip/ Fs half cab flip debate.
What Ty said about being a skateboarder and growing up being a skateboarder right before the episode ended was spot on.
Also, why does Mike look ten years younger here? Does anyone else find it weird, or is it just me? He looks like he dipped his face in the fountain of youth.

I think the likelihood of getting Rick Howard on is slim to none considering he's only done a handful of interviews in his career and he seems like a very private person. I also don't know what I'm talking about.

This episode was great and I only watch the ones like this (older dudes etc) but I get why they have more young retards on. It's why Nick At Night had shitty ratings but reality TV makes a ton of money. There are more of them than there are of us.

I'd be happy to see this. At least they were on the Stay Flared tour, would've been a shame if they weren't. And I definitely agree, this episode went way too fast.  But at least there's three episodes instead of two.

Wouldn't a hardflip be an outward kickflip? Biebel had a photo doing a switch varial heel in Transworld years back and it was captioned "switch outward heelflip." And an inward heelflip is the opposite of a varial heelflip. But I guess it goes either way, one person's inward is another person's outward, can you show me the entrance to the exit, and so on.

I would love to see Girl/Chocolate/4 Star to make a huge comeback. They need to drop a video that is not so high produced. Their riders skate all the time I'm sure they have loads of footage. Mesa needs to whip something together with a santana, kool in the gang, souls of mischief type soundtrack, haha. Maybe too abd but they need to drop something raw and serious asap.

Also I'm starting to form the opinion that after Tom Penny, Mike Carroll is next for best style? idk...From jump ramps, to emb, to LA...huge legend.

Hearing what Sturt said to Mike about "getting some photos before he was done" kind of makes me not think too highly of him(Sturt) and I can kind of understand some of the hate directed at Mike T and some of those older cats. Makes them seem like total exploiters of kids. Good on them for starting their own shit and saying "fuck that!" That had to be the start of longevity in skate careers IMO...

God, these are the best fucking episodes.  Not gonna lie Brink, when you asked about unreleased videos I was hoping you were going to work in that alleged MJ part that Carroll said he had after MJ's chromeball.  Regardless, these are so good.

Jake has an unbelievable amount of unreleased footage some of which he brought down on a drive and we got to see after the Buzz shoot.
Regarding the full ep podcast, we are looking into this. Some episodes like this these with MC/JR the podcast format would work great. Other episodes will bore you to death. We have a very small staff so this isn't going to happen right away but we are honestly looking into it right now.

^^^^I actually think something in the lines of how Joe Rogan does his podcast would be cool. Like a video but it can be used as audio only as well. I am assuming you would just have to break and do commercials to make some money off of it but that comes with the Podcast territory.
