Dickies 873, one size bigger, or Levis 501.
Never tried 874 yet.

ordered some carhartt b11, the work dungarees. lets see how they do. I've just gotten pissed about dickies sizing being off every fucking time i order them from amazon. carhartt has never been bad to me in the sizing department pants wise, but the hoodies are just ungodly big.

I live in these pants. Work and skate. Best pants I have ever owned. The double knee is pretty sick, they take so long to get ripped and a bunch of holes in them. I have been wearing the same ones for over a year. Few smalls tears and stuff but thats it. I recommended them.

edit. Woops those are completely different. But check those out

yea i was boutta say i hope i didnt get the double knee haha

grabbed these

double knee just seemed too heavy duty for my liking.

propper bdu cargos, with the cargo pockets cut off w/ a seam ripper because they just end up floppin' around and making the pants heavier and hotter.

i've been on these hurley dryfit chino pants for the last two years, really light weight and loose enough with a perfect fit for my body frame.

I'm kinda hooked into the Levi's skateboarding stuff. I have both 513 and 504 and they fit great (just go a size up on the 513 for a decent fit). They fell a little more sturdier, not so stretchy as the kr3w pants I used to have, but more durable aswell. I always try to buy them on sale but still a little expensive.
I also got the cargo pants from them but they arent that good to skate in. Kinda heavy and hot, so you sweat a lot, I just use them casually.
The other day I also bought some random ones on a "tradicional market" that I think they are working pants, just dark grey with no brand at all but they feel great. Dirt cheap (10?), cargo pockets, straight fit similar to dickies but reeeally comfy, fells sturdy aswell.

Dickies 67 Straight fit is comfy and durable.
Just today I was using air craft paint remover
and got some on my pants. Didn't notice till I touched it by accident and started burning.
The acid didn't eat away at the pants so Dickies must be doing something right.

Volcom jeans are honestly the best jeans / pants around. All types of fits, any colour you could want and they stretch really well. How people could like wearing dickies is beyond me. I know people say buy a size up or wash before use or something else, but buying pants shouldn't be that complicated.

I picked up 4 pairs of vintage wash straight fit pants from the GAP a few weeks ago when they were on sale for 28$ a pair. They fit a lot better than any dickies I've had, don't get thrashed in the washer, and are soft yet durable. Watch for sales and you can get them for real cheap

Uniqlo super stretch are also good - better than any skate-branded pants I've had. (altamont/krew/volcom included)

Those ten dollar flat front George chinos from Wal-Mart. Cheap, comfy and reliable.
Speaking of pants, I went to get a new pair a few days back and realized I can fit in 32s comfortably again. I've been a 34 at the waist for years now, last time i was able to fit in 32s was 2013. Been skating a lot more and not overeating as much and as a result I've been slimming down; I'm stoked.

I've been all about Old Navy pants lately. Their jeans and chinos both fit nice with a good stretch, and they're always really cheap. I used to be all about the Davis Slims, but these are honestly a fair substitute now that they don't make them anymore.

Big fan of Uniqlo skinnies or slims (stretch fabric) jeans and chinos.

Are they durable enough to skate in? I wear them casually because they are so comfortable but I think i would tear the ass of em in a few sessions

i skated uniqlo stretch selvedge straights for a bit before i burned a hole in the crotch (campfire ember) and they held up pretty decently. probably would buy another pair but carhartts (b324's, b11's, and b290's) have been serving me well for less per pair.

It’s cold and I’m a kook so the sweatpants my grandma got me for Christmas years ago

For actual pants though I’ve never got any new pants that were as comfortable as the stuff I get at the thrift store

Some loose, well worn, work-ish pants that sit at the waist rather than below. Nothing better for me

Every time I go outside I wonder why I'm not wearing Lucas length shorts
[close]

Board shorts are life...until you get a shinner and it feels 10x worse for some reason

It’s warm year round where I currently live so I really enjoy skating in 5 to 7 inch running shorts. I usually wear thick socks to minimize shinner damage (and grip sanding my fucked up ankle...)

Varies day to day whether I feel like I look stupid or like I pull it off. At least I’m stupid comfortable. Otherwise, I wear the cheapest jeans I own.
