Anyone catch Totti's farewell ceremony? He's like a true skate rat, but with a ball. Still not ready to hang up his boots

That was sad. I think it's been long overdue though, like he should have retired at least 2 years ago, he was always out of pace lately (and it's alright at >40yo). That was also made more evident by his position on the field.. the only one that could stroll and still make a difference was the maestro Andrea Pirlo.
Totti is an incredible player and his loyalty to the club is something that's becoming very rare nowadays. This being said I always found him to be a bit too impulsive on some crucial occasions (him and the other main man at Roma, De Rossi) and that made him and his team go missing pretty bad on some domestic and european nights.
I think that his farewell can finally start a new cycle for Roma, whose supporters have always been so attached to Totti (like a roman king) but that had sometimes bad repercussions on the board and the team (etc. hiding bad signings and squad technic-tactic errors behind the fact that the captain wasn't getting enough game time).
Legend on the pitch, genuine man with a great heart.. he'll be missed. (hopefully he doesn't go and play in Dubai or some shit next season).
