Burlington, VT:
Don't come here, but if you're in the area for any reason:
Shops:
Maven, cherry st: Artsy, fashiony boutique place. Some cool art stuff, some lame streetwear stuff.
Talent skatepark: decent shop, decent park in the rain or winter.
Spots:
Waterfront skate park- a meetup spot where you could easily spend the whole day. Two boxes, a pyramid, a u shaped quarterpipe, some banks and a mini. Shitty.
Burton Bowl- at burton snowboards headquaters. 6-8 feet deep. Hips, lines, pool coping, fun times. There is also a smooth 3-4 foot mini next to it.
Assorted street spots, NOTHING worth mentioning or seeking out.
Bomb some of the hills in town.
Food:
New world tortilla- North Winooski. Cheap, big burritos.
Church Street- Marketplace in the center of town. Lots of places to eat.
The OP (other place)- north winooski. The only bar in town worth going to. Good crowd, cheap drinks.
Buffalo, NY
Shops:
Sunday skate/bmx: potomac ave. off of elmwood. Probably my favorite shop. Down to earth, good vibe, decent product selection, and the best meetup spot.
Spots:
Your best bets for spots are to meet up at sunday and tag along with some people there. If you want to go at it alone, hop on the train and you can get off at any of the above ground spots and find ledges, stairs and gaps to skate anytime after 5ish. The other big local spot is trackmasters. It's a parking lot with a bunch of banks that you can grind/slide and one that you can skate like a hip. Take main to north street and head east a two blocks. Across the street are some chunky cement ledges that slide pretty well but you might need some wax to grind.
There is a skatepark called xtreme wheels, but don't go. It sucks.
Food:
Amy's place on main street in university heights is probably my favorite place to eat in town. Cheap, greasy, delicious food.
Elmwood avenue from allen to buffalo state is full of little restaurants, coffee houses and shit like that. Allen street has a bunch of decent bars.
Boston, MA
Shops:
True East: Downtown crossing. A small shop that doesn't always have the best selection, but it's in the heart of downtown and it's a great meetup spot.
Orchard: Tremont Street in Mission Hill. A cool shop that you can run into a lot of people sporting brown cords, half cabs and white teeshirts.
Spots:
The new england aquarium is generally hassle free. Ledges, a manual pad and flatground. Honestly, rather than telling you the spots I am just going to tell you to meet up with people and skate around, or just skate around with whoever you are traveling with. Boston is super fun to just cruise around and see what you can find. The financial district is hit or miss, but after 5 you can usually at least get a few tries in anywhere.
Food:
Qdoba- assorted locations around the city. Great burritos. Fresh guac daily. Cheap.
The north end- lots of italian food here, and there are some great deals to be had.
I'm yet to find a decent bar in boston that isn't plagued with annoying kids from the 9,000 colleges there. The Sunset cantina on comm ave is a bit pricy, but they have a great beer selection and some decent food. If you are looking for decent, inexpensive places to drink, head away from downtown and towards brookline and allston.

haa the last time I was skating in boston (first time as well) I ate it on those bricks with my 52mm's. there's really some great stuff there. at city hall I think? there was really awsome stuf, but I came along when there was this large public hip-hop concert going on.

Marietta, GA
I don't really know many hangout spots, just skate spots. Besides, why the hell would you wanna actually come here?
MELLOW MUSHROOM- The only spot with no bust- its curbs and loading docks of different sizes, and some manual pads and bumps. The highest dock is about thigh high- this is a good place for some lines.
LASSITER HIGH- A lot of stairs (from 3 to 12), a bank going downhill with the worst run up ever, and a chunky ledge.
GREEK CHURCH- All marble- has some stairs (nothing bigger than a 5) and gaps. Gotta go in the night, or you'll get busted within 5 minutes.
SPRAYBERRY HIGH- Stairs (what a suprise), from 4 to 7 steps. Also, right down the street is possibley the only Marietta spot to make it into a magazine- the bump to handicap rail Sean Stockton BS 5-0ed in an old Transworld.
FRONTSIDE SKATEPARK- This parks been closed for almost 2 years, but I decided to mention it because it was the main spot before it closed. A wave wall, euro gaps, a sick mini ramp, but most importantly, it was a good place with good people. R.i.P.
Oh, yeah, Native Sons. We don't have any, except Jon Newport, and I thought that wasn't something to be that proud of.

Town: Babylon, NY

I moved to NC a year and a half ago but I called WB my home before that.
Town: Babylon/West Babylon
Shops: Chapmans: Just no. Specifically decks made by Chapman (ie Zoo Yorks and shit) GREAT prices but the decks are all shit.
Special Sauce: YES. lol My favorite shop. A little overpriced but an amazing shop, great feel, great product, just go there.
Spots: Babylon High RIP: This was THE hangout. Kids would come all over from NYC and Long Island to skate here. EVERYTHING got torn down, this is horrible, that's where I learned almost every trick I know and met almost every friend I have. RIP.
Babylon Train Station: Pretty much just a meet up/chill spot. Some curbs, manny pads but there's nothing here besides that and the 12 stair.
The gazebo: A 3 on one side, a 4 on the other. Nothing too big but nice to make ollie up, trick down type lines.
Across from the gazebo at argyle lake or whatever had a trail with some ledges that are decent height and pretty good.
Lomans: Right down the street from the high school is a lomans outdoor store or whatever, gap over a bush that's a kinda ok height.
Native sons: Gino and I share a birthplace: Carle Place, NY but the only skater I know from around Babylon is Nick Sassa and he's not even am yet.
Town: Apex, NC. Gay town but here it goes:
Shops: Vertical Urge: The people that work here are all douchebags but they have an amazing selection and great deals.
Board 2 death: EW. you can skate in there haha. there's a box and a rail and a miniramp but they have close to nothing.
Endless Grind: Never been there haha
Spots: Beaver creek commons: Hmm this is unusual, it's a shopping center type thing but it goes like a mile up the road. There's a huge number of small gaps up by the movie theater and there's a few big ones up there as well but there's nothing too great.
Apex High: So many stairs, such little time. Name a number between 1 and 14 and there's a stair set of that number here, but the bust factor is at maximum.
Apex elementary(downtown): PERFECT 5 and 8 for those hammers you aren't ready to take down a 20 yet.
Downtown apex aka salem st.: The Hardware gap, some other gaps at the church, not too much here.
Apex Middle: Some more stairs and a tiny loading dock.

Pittsburgh, PA
Shops: OneUP skateshop, there are others but it's the only in city limits that actually does anything for the "scene," plus they're all stand up guys.
Spots:
MLK - school surrounded by banks, zero bust factor but the banks have curbs on the bottom. 9 stairs and rails.
Margaret Milliones - (Oakland) steep ass bank you can skate like a quarter pipe (harmony does a fs tailslide bs revert in good and evil) also 3 blocks you can skate like a gap if you can manage the curved runway. also stays somewhat dry when it rains
Downtown - Downtown pittsburgh is like 5 square miles, it's tiny, but there are a lot of fun spots if you can find them. Skateable planters on Grant street. Marble park - ledges of marble with the worst ground ever, a 6 flat 6 (?). 1st ave is probably the most fun, it's like a couple flat gaps and some bumps. just push around and you'll find something.
Atwood lot - (Oakland) meet up spot. it's just a parking lot and a manual pad but it's a good spot to meet up/ meet people. when it isn't complete shit outside, a lot of people meet up on Thursdays
Either go downtown or go to oakland, chances are you'll bump into someone or find stuff on your own.
Skateparks
Mckinley - metal, mini ramp, quarterpipes, banks, a box, a hip (kind of), some flat bars
Imperial - concrete bowls and snake runs, pretty big. they also have a plastic street course
Penn Hills - a bunch of moveable plastic ramps and some flat bars and shit. it's actually pretty fun
Boyce Park - concrete - bowls and a hubba, i haven't been there yet - Pads required?
Sheradan - haven't been

There is a bar somewhere in downtown Boston area called Wedgies and it is awesome. Cheap drinks amazing atmosphere.

Spots:
Cosmopolitian Skatepark - Good flow, lots of tranny, one of the good skateparks in Missouri
MU - It's a Bust sometimes, but I've only been buzzted once. There is everything, ledges, every length of manual pads, a few double sets, stairs of every length (From 2 to 23 hahaha), banks in the most random areads, some perfect handrails, and a lot of it is downhill so it makes it a lot more fun. There are some cool spots there, like a manual pad with a 3 at the end, a water fountain that you do tricks over a ledge into, there's a lot, I could spend all day there and the only reason I would leave would be because of my legs gettin weak
Downtown - Not really a certain spot but it's fun to cruise around the hills and skate little bumps and curbs, also a lot of parking garages with little spots in them

Native Sons and people you might run into at various times....Tyler Moore is from here and for awhile Malcolm Watson was living up here...Brian Andersons sister lives here and he has been known to pop up out of nowhere.
oh ive been wanting to visit spokane for a few years now. might get there this summer, because my brother just bought a house in rossland, bc (red mountain).

Charlotte, NC
Shops: Black Sheep- Good skater owned skateshop near downtown; huge selection of decks(including shop decks) and shoes,but a little expensive
Spots:
Red Rails- low seven stair handrail and a low six stair handrail back to back. good for lines.
Quail Hollow- smooth seven stair with a good handrail that starts on the sixth stair.
Box Spot- Parking garage with a couple boxes and a flatbar(sometimes).
Park Road Gap- Nice size gap that everybody skates
Downtown- Lots of different spots; good to skate at night
Skateparks:
Grayson- Big concrete skatepark with a huge bowl.
Shamrock- Old metal skatepark in a bad part of town
Soul Ride- Good indoor air conditioned park.
Food: Phat Burrito- right down the street from Black Sheep; really good

this is one city that has yet to have been ravaged in socal so unfortuintley theres a lot of unskated spots that ive skated that get sandblasted and i really dont want to give them out, howevee if you happene to stop buy i will be more than willing to play tour guide.
eats:
pomona has a heavy mexican population so there are tons of good mexican eats, my favorites inclue:
mexico lindo-right off garey and 11th. if you come here strictly stick to the asada.
tacos jalisco-on mission a stones throw away from downtown. this place everything on the menu is perfect, dont be afaraid to try anything unless you are afraid to have a heart attack cause this food is mad greasy.
el merindero-this is the definate nacho spot, im talking about real nachos.
shops:
pomona has a variety of shops and places to run through to look and spend money.
platform skateshop-recently opened shop trying to do thinsg right, unfortinatley the last few times ive gone back they havnt stoked what ive wanted/needed so was forced to buy stuff i really didnt want, but ill be in there in about a half hour to talk about those new carroll selects, maybe this time theyll get something right.
globe/radiofutura- globe is this kind of hip hop/grafiti place where you can find all kinds of shirts, pens, hats etc and right nextdoor is this dj shop where they got all sorts of vinyl that your average turntablist might desire.
antique row- antique row is this block on second street that used to be refered to as the pomona mall. since then all the stores that used to be macys and nordstroms are all antique shops. and honestly youll never know what you are gunna find. the best ones are the two storie shops and most have basements. antique row is a great way to kill two hours.
analog haven- i dunno hwo many people are into synths, moogs etc but this is the place to be. they let you test the equipment and kind of let you louge around.
la bomba-wall to wall vintage clothing. think of it as a thrift store with jacked up prices.
hang outs:
donwtown-2nds street, downtown, whatever you wanna call it this reall the only place where the hang outs are. theres a venue downtown called the glasshouse that generally has good shows(has been lacking recently but is on its way to make an up again). every second saturday is art walk where the local artist show off there goods. chat with snobs drink some wine and just enjoy your self. theres tons of gallaries etc. anywhere outside of downtown is generally dead and youll have to head into L.A. for the night life. take the 10 or 60 west for about half an hour.

Salina, Kansas aka shit town
Shop:
Focus Skate Shop/Park. Located at 831 york street, constuction on the park is due to start on Febuary 8th and should be done by the end of March.
Spots:
Memorial Hall- Golden 8 stair with some decent handrails.
Libary- Across the street from memorial, huge plaza with ledges, stairs and manny pads
Oakdale- A drop/loading dock spot
Food:
Only places worth trying is Greeks Pizza and Martenellies lil Italy.
If you wanna meet up with some skaters just go to the skatepark located on the west end of town, its just a shit modular place but for some reason we go there.

yeah i still like to lurk there like once a month. owners are really nice people. theyve got this techno beat maker thing that is really fucking intense with all the pitch control beat control and all that madeness. i respected eltrnoic music maker a lot after that store opened.

Seoul, South Korea
Intro:
Seoul is an incredibly huge city of 10 million with a suburban area around 18 million or so.
There is a small but growing skate scene supported by a couple of really good skater run shops.
Street skating can be difficult because the city is almost always busy as hell. That being said, there are some rad spots, some fun parks, and a lot to be discovered. Local companies Alchemy Skateboards, Wyfluence Skateboards, StuntB Skateboards, and ARK shoes support the scene. As skating grows the scene is becoming more recognized and this has been shown by visits from both 5boro and Satori in the recent past.
Transportation:
The most convenient and easiest way to get around the Seoul area is definitely subway. It has 10 lines and can connect you to everywhere in the city as well as Incheon city in the West and Suwon city in the East. Signs all have English and if you look lost with a map people will always stop to help you find your way.
Cabs aren't expensive but traffic in Seoul is intense so avoid cabbing it during rush hour. Starting fare is $2 and a 15-20 minute ride will only be $5 or $6.

Hammond, Louisiana
We're smallish college city located roughly halfway between New Orleans and Baton Rouge (45 minutes either way).
Spots:

Our indoor park, which is nearing a complete remodel, is basically a really huge snowman shaped bowl (5 foot shallow, 8 1/2 deep, with a mega-banked ramp incorporated into the design). There's also a door-gap and a deathbox.
The university here (Southeastern Louisiana University) has various ledges, stairs, benches, manual pads, and some unique architecture that's super fun to skate. Our downtown area (the historic section) is also full of shit... but the best time to hit it is on Saturday night or Sunday (day or night) when most of the business are shut down.
We're also 15 minutes away from a number of secret spots outside of town that you can only hit if you meet up with us. We're not stingy, but we are protective.
Food:
Mariner's Inn: The best 1/2 burgers and baked potatos ever made. If you don't like red meat, they also have grilled tuna steaks on a seasoned grill that are fucking killer. Pretty good beer selection, darkly lit, and as casual of a place as you could want. Feel free to come here if you're covered in sweat. There's patio seating outside, and as lck would have it, some of the brick planters were made skateable when a couple of the Dreamland guys put angle iron on them (with the blessings of the owner of the restaurant). We just can't skate them when the place is busy.
La Carreta:
A family owned Mexican restaurant. It's better than any food I've had in Mexico... plus they sell 44 ounce margarita's that are super good. There's covered patio seating here too, if you want it. Make a special order of shrimp quesadillias, they'll make you punch your mom.
Kirin Sushi:
Better sushi than Iron Chef Morimoto's. I know this first hand.
Cane's:
Cane's is a southern fast-food place that does nothing but chicken fingers. You can't roll through here without experiencing these fuckers.
Booze:
Mariner's Inn (as mentioned before): Very chill place to get shnockered. The beer is cheap.
Augustine's: It's our local dive. Everyone from frek kids to truck drivers do their thing here. The place is ghetto and everyone is welcome here.
Mule's Cate Street Pub: A lot of frats hang here, but the owner of this place is friends with most of us older skaters. He's really tight with our skate shop, and will let you come in for bands free if you come in with one of us affiliated with the skate shop.
Skate shops:
The one linked in my sig is the only skateshop in town... Small Time Skates.
There is a place three blocks away from us that sells skateoards, but the douche that owns it sells everyting from paintballs to pogo sticks.

Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Spots:
Everywhere. We've got Wake Forest University, Winston Salem State University, Forsyth Technical Community College, and tons of shopping centers and whatever else. You should find stuff everywhere.
A few of the more popular ones:
Silver Rails: Coming off of I-40 you'll cross a bridge into Winston-Salem. If you look to your right you should see this spot right off the bat. It starts out as a small set of stairs, and gradually ends up being a smooth seven. The rails are skatestopped.

Corporate Plaza: This is right beside Silver Rails. There are four nine stairs, a huge grass gap into the road, and a ledge to do stuff off of (or up), etc. Watch out for cops.

GMAC: It is at a big building, clearly labeled "GMAC," and it's great for lines. It starts off with a two stair to do something up, then tons of rollup, followed by a granite ledge. You'll get kicked out of here.

BB&T: It's downtown right in front of Corporate Plaza. Theres some ledges to grind, and a ten stair in front. There is also a five stair to the side of it. You'll probably get kicked out.

Forsyth Tech ledges: Across the street from Exodus Skate Shop, go behind the building and you should be able to find these. It's two perfect, waxed ledges in a line. Going around and connecting the two is a big 'c' ledge, and it's kind of waxed too. Watch for security guards and cops.

Career Center: I like this spot alot. There are one or two waxed benches (depending on how you set them up) in a line, and then the smoothest eight stair ever. The ground is amazing, but the eight stair is pretty big. There are brick five stairs around the side, with round handrails with large kinks. You can ollie the rails, or maybe boardslide them. In front, there is a four, long flat, four, long flat, four, long flat, four, a six stair, and a large grass gap. There is also a loading dock that is like a kicker for doing tricks off the side. It's a school, so don't skate during school hours and you should be alright, for the most part.

Linens 'n Things: behind the shopping center is a small, waxed, long ways three stair to grind across, followed by an incline to grind up. It had angleing iron on it, but I heard that it's since been removed.

Flex Pay: It's got a small grass gap over a tall brick wall, over some parking blocks. Theres also a seven stair with a rail.

Bridge Rail: This was a low, square, six stair rail. It's been in a few videos. Remember the rail Scuba Steve noseslides in Really Sorry? That one. It's gone now, but the stairs are still there.

Exodus Skate Shop: It's huge. 100+ decks on the wall, tons of shoes, probably thirty racks of clothes, sale racks, and pretty much everything. All reasonably priced. Transportation:
Buses and cabs go all around and I think to Greensboro (the city over.) Downtown you can just walk and find stuff though; it's everywhere. You can also catch a train to Charlotte, the biggest city in North Carolina, and maybe check out the Raleigh/Durham area too.

Food:
There are places to eat everywhere. Macaroni Grill is probably my favorite; great Italian. Huge Mexican population so I assume the Mexican food is authentic too.
Booze:
Theres a little section in Winston with strip clubs and bars and stuff. My uncle was talking to this cop one time in a different city, and told the cop where he was from. As a joke, the cop asked what bar he owned, and my uncle really did own a bar; plenty of spots to drink over here.
The place is great on weekends. Few busts, spots everywhere, skaters everywhere, etc. If you are here for like a month doing nothing but skating and eating all day everyday, and you SOMEHOW get bored, take yourself to Greensboro, the big city beside Winston with even more stuff.

If you wind up in Greensboro, there are alot of spots, but alot of them are busts. I usually like to go hit up A&T University when I'm in town. It's got stuff to keep you occupied for years, and is always a nice session as long as you stay on your toes and duck campus police and security guards.

Creations is in Kernersville and doesn't count. They remodeled so now it's a BMX park basically, with probably half the ramps unskateable, and they host hardcore shows. Fuck that.
Tobacco kind of went away in the 90s and Winston diversified; there are alot of corporations based here so theres alot thanks to that I guess. It is the tobacco capital still.

outdoor stuff: i'm too old to figure out spots....there's some downtown but nowhere near what it was....shouldnt stop you from looking though....plaza's a good meeting spot that you'll never leave....you could fuck around at cambie...ghetto spot if there's anything there...hotspot....i like crusing around UBC...
parks: hastings for tranny...bonsor in bby is good....if your expectations are low enough.. strathcona is o.k.....same w. china creek....

Singapore, Singapore
Shops:
Spitfire: One of Singapores oldest shops, carries mostly dwindle and blitz distribution boards, with a lot of old boards from companies that died (new deal, deca). They stopped selling shoes a while ago. Great vibe from the shop, the shop owners treat you like family.
Go Sports: Another good skate shop, with lots of brands (DGK, Zero, dwindle, blitz, Lakai, DVS). They have a few obstacles outside the shop so you can try out the stuff you just bought...
Spots:
Most of the good spots are down town, aka Orchard Road. Stairs, rails and ledges, but be careful, lots of knobs and security is really active.
other spots are in the suburbs. Hard to describe, so get the locals to bring you there.
Skateparks:
Somerset: Medium sized skate park made with skate-lite obstacles. Not fantastic, the curbs are made of plastic so they dont drind well. theres a mini-ramp, a couple of fun-boxes, medium sized pyramids and a few ramps.
Bedok: Huge open space, but the obstacles are cluttered together. the park doesnt skate very well, but theres a nice 5 and 7 set at the park that you can hit up.
There a few moer scattered around, but most of them arent worth the effort to type about.
Clubs:
Plenty in singapore, and the locals love clubbing. Hit up MOS (Ministry of Sound), Zouk, The Cannery, Mohammed Sultan Road... Drinks in singapore are never cheap so your best bet is duty free stuff from the airport....

Pier Park technically St Johns this is the newest city skate park. Home to a huge full pipe and some big bowls, also some granite hubba's on the street course, it is alright but over run by bikes. Go early and hope no bikes tracks mud though the day before. Check out dreamlands website for photos.
Old Fred Myers way the fuck out on Burnside, chunked ledge, manny pads, fun double sided curb.
Down town has some stuff, push around and check it out, most good stuff is skate proofed, but some gems exist.

alot of the street spots are spread out through the suburbs of portland.
zoo bomb: starts on the west edge of portland and takes you into the city.
you can ride the max up to the zoo and take a hill bomb that goes downhill for a good 3-5 miles.
aloha huber high school: pretty new spot, has a bunch of differen hieght ledges.
dust bowl: located down in the pearl district, some metal edge ledges and some banks.
whitiker school: a couple ledges that were made by some locals. located in northeast portland.
allen banks: some really good banks to launch out of, there is a prety fun pole jam going out of one of the banks. located in beaverton.
beaverton library: smooth manual benches.
pcc sylvania: rails, ledges, stairs and alot more, its really only skateable on sundays and holidays.
wild life reserve: lots of gaps and stairs, its the spot that rick mcrank ollies 4 stairs and a gap onto a skinny bench and then kickflips off over a gap and 4 stairs.
ross island half pipes: brent and beach own this spot.
there are plenty more spots, i will try and list some more tommorow

Nothing major here, but several good spots and decent night life.
Shop
Jimi skateshop:
1st skate shop in Taiwan, founded in 1987 or something. Not gorgeous as HK's 8Five2, but it is pretty nice.
CGS:
Basically the same deal with Jimi, they are all under Jet sunny distribution. Located in Tien Mu, foreign resident area in Taipei, you may bump into some guy from Taipei American school here. I used to know some of them, and they are all amazingly incredible.
Skateboarding:
Different vibe and different atmosphere than Jet sunny, huge collection of IPath shoes and whatnot.
Bamboo:
They carry Black Box mainly, such as Zero/Mystery, and Toy machine as well. You might want to know the founder of Bamboo is an american, accidentally settle down in Taiwan.
Spot
Chun Sheng Plaza:
It is a EMB/Love park esque square, with decent marble ledges and stair cases, you will love it here, plus the same as Love Park, the city's major police station is right beside it. Somehow they don't care, 2 out of 10 times popo will try to talk you off, but that's about it. On the weekends you can found at least 50 kids skating there.
NTU university:
The clique from the campus usually gather around the main gate to skate and chill, there's not many things to skate. Few benches and flatground tops, but it is a meeting place, you can go there to see what's going on.
The Park:
It is beside Chung Sheng soccer stadium and Taipei art museum. Poorly organized park facility but it is a meeting spot as well.
Shing Yi district:
If you are looking for a warm up spot, this is the place. Virgin marble ledge right in front of the Channel flagship shop in Mitsukoshi department store, go there after midnight, or the security may give you a hard time.
You may want to cruise around in the district, actually there's hidden spot around the corner.
Night Life
Bring your shit around, chicks here like westerners, A LOT.
Luxy:
Go to place, average girls. My american born taiwanese friend said this is paradise for him.
Plush:
5 star, a must-go. Up scale models from near by agency frequnetly visit, better dress up there.
Carnegie:
Laid back atmosphere, lots of foreign customers. Great place to chill.
Traffic
MRT and its U card is the best way to get around in the city.

If the weather is nice, hit the Wilson Park on the lakefront. Forget skating downtown during the day (huge bust), tuck your lady in at night and hit the streets with a light crew (3-4 max), or alone. Tons of marble and granite downtown...if you like ledges, its an amazing city to skate. IBM, MCA, and a million other downtown spots to keep you busy, but its best to keep moving around...they hand out tickets like candy on Halloween, so don't stay in one place too long. You probably should also hit Clemente (a school on the west side in Ukranian Village), you'll surely recognize it from a fair amount of videos. If you like tight tranny, you might want to hit the seawall by the Shedd Aquarium. Bring your girl with you, or your board might go for a swim. There are a ton of other secret spots that I won't be putting on the internet, but downtown, Clemente, and Wilson should keep you busy.
If the weather is bad, go to Krush skatepark, they have something for everyone, and the place is pretty big. They just put in a 3-flat-3 double set with granite hubbas going down it thats fun as hell. They also have a fun little (not that little, I think its 5' or 6') bowl.

Tons of great food in the city...make sure you hit Sushi Wabi for a Godzilla roll, go to Portillos and get a chocolate cake shake, get breakfast at the Bongo Room, a veggie burger from Earwax Cafe, and some Mexican from Flash Taco. you can skate downtown during the day although i wouldnt suggest it. but if you do just keep on your toes and dont stick around spots too long, if you see bike cops coming your way head for a subway. but yea most spots youll get the boot pretty quick but sometimes you get lucky and get a decent session. its much better past 11 pm though so id just stick to night sessions. hit up post office, picasso(daily plaza), chase building has a nice 8 stair but the funnest thing is to do wallies on the little walls there, and these spots are all basically in a row and close together. just head down dearborn st. in the heart of the business district basically and youll see em.

Most of the cities are really small here so I'll break it down into the places I've skated...
Trenton (HOMETOWN)
CVS Gap
A pretty good gap before it became a bust, pretty good spot for lines too, bumps, islands, and a little gap thats about as high as a four stair with a curb at the top and bottom (thats basically the gap, haha.)
West Road Tobacco Shop
Theres a few flat glaps, a bunch of manual pads and a decent knee high ledge. Pretty good warmup spot.
Barber shop
About three of those little two stair type deals that Gallant killed in WHL, you can only use the first stair as a manual pad.
Martenson's Funeral Home
Basically, it's a ledge thats flat going over a pretty steep bank. The ledges are chunky but not too chunky, theres also a gap, a flat gap, and a bike trail to enjoy...
Trenton High School
This spot USED to be so fun to skate at. Out front theres a tennis court with ledges in it, a 5 stair on the bleachers, a 7 stair with an uphill runway but is still skateable (of course), a pretty fun marble 3 up 3 down, a four stair that's basically jutting out of a wall (but can be skated). It's made so you can skate the side of the runup to the stairs as a ledge. Another 3 stair is tucked into the back of the building and has enough run up where you can skate the stairs as ledges, or skate the stairs. There are a few flat sand gaps that are kinda hard to skate because of how rough the cement is (its the kind with little mini rocks in it). Around the corner from that is ANOTHER three stair with a short flat ledge off it that's fun to skate.
St. Tim's Church
This is such a good spot if you're shitty at skating like me. A hard to skate four stair (about 8 feet of runup, one push worth), a lot of flat, and then a tiny gap into the street that's the main attraction of this place. Theres also a bank that has a curb jutting out of it which is also fun. By the four stair, theres a ledge jutting out that you can do shit off of, it's kinda like a loading dock.
Anderson Elementary
Speaking of loading docks...this is a fun spot if you can skate it. Theres a loading dock thats about theigh high, that you can easily ollie up, and a double sided ledge leading to the loading dock or going away from it. You NEVER get kicked out of here.
St. Paul's Church
DO NOT EVER GO HERE. There are perfect four stair rails. Theres a hill into a bump out to the street that they probably wouldn't care about, but oh man this place is a bust. They call the cops, and Trenton cops press charges.
Behind the Westroad Autoshop
An AMAZING bank you never get kicked out of with a guardrail you can ollie over or whatever.
Behind...um...I'm not sure but it's on the opposite side of the road from the above
Two knee high loading docks in a row, you can ollie up one, roll down and ollie up the other.
Slick Disk (Shop)

There's a skatepark thats not good, a few big 3 stairs that are lit up at night, and some ledges and fun hills. Never get kicked out here.
DT Trenton 6 Stair
It's on the opposite side of elizabeth park, a 6 set going into a suburban street. Never get kicked out. Also theres a rail on the left of it, bs for regular skaters. It(the rail)'s unskateable though.

In the back theres a loading dock. Out front in the parking lot, theres a downhill manual pad that's insanely fun. There's a 3 stair on the side as well as a 4 stair. Theres also a 7 stair off the bleachers.
Behind Roosevelt
Is a train-depot-thing, a big loading dock basically.
Accross from Roosevelt
A decent uphill ledge. Fun, not hammertime.
Abandoned Strip Mall
A uphill or downhill manual pad, pretty fun spot.
Across from the Strip Mall
A sidewalk gap type thing, it's pretty fun.
Clocktower Ledges
A manual pad, a curb comming off of a curb (hard to explain), a flat gap, and a knee high ledge.
There's TONS more shit in Wyandotte, just drive down Biddle and look left or right.
New Boston
Willow Metropark
My favorite skatepark, good mini, good pyramid, good ledges, good banks and quarters and a moveable jersey barrier. A four stair. A decent stage that you can do shit over a trash can, a curved ledge (Like an O), and some sick hills. Theres a few manual pads and weird ledges to skate there as well.
Taylor is just too big to do.
Basically, this is a fun place if you're not too good (like me), or are just down for some weird, fun, creative shit.

The Woodlands, Texas
Rather... rich suburb about 25-30 miles north of Houston. Population around 100,000.
Shops
Cades Boards is really the only shop out here. From I-45 north [coming out of Houston] take a left at Sawdust, going under the overpass, and its about a mile down the road on the right, right by a Verizon wireless shop. The owner Eric is sick as fuck, he'll help you out.
Spots
Even though everyone here says there is no spots, they are just whiners. There is nice amount of fun spots. Plenty of which are pointless to post unless you actually come here. I might post pictures sometime later, but if any of you Houston heads are nearby, just send me a PM and I'll be more than happy to take you around, or give you directions to spots if I'm not in town. Respect.
Parks
The town just built a mighty sick bowl here, coming off I-45 north take a left ontop Research Forest (under the overpass) and take that all the way to Bear Branch Recreational Center [right side of the road, right after "Cochran's Crossing Shopping center] and take a left. Then take another immediate left and take that all the way to the back. You'll see the park. Has a 2 flat 2 with a rail going down it. A sick ledge, about a foot high, and a "hubba". Finally there is a nicely built bowl, shallow is like 6 feet with a love seat, an oververt pocket, and a vert pocket. Easy to flow on, lots of fun. Concrete too...
There is a whole bunch of smaller parks around here too, but they are made out of that skatewave shit and are completely worthless.

my grandfather lived in the woodlands. Place is weird; trees everywhere, minimal signs, etc. I felt like I was in a labyrinth or something. It was really nice out there though. Seemed like one big gated community.

Everyone talks about how it's great to raise kids here, but about 75% of the people I know at my highschool are on coke and most all of em hit the herb...

yeah, the only time I went out there was when he was about to die. I met all of his neighbors and they were all fucking assholes. He married some texas golddigger bitch that made him move there; while he was dying of cancer she OD'd him on morphine to speed up the process. Haven't heard from that bitch since. Plymouth, NH
Spots
Plymouth State University: All brick with numerous size sets ranging from 3 to 13. Half circle 7 set with accompanying handrails. A varying size grass gap located at the basketball courts. There are large rocks located all over that can be skated. Two ledges located at the clock tower and just north of the clock tower. Theres a gnar 13 stair hubba located at the library. Numerous hill bomb's and such. Go on the weekends or prepare to run if campus security comes because you will recieve a $100 fine.
Downtown: All brick wallride down the alley at the Hong Kong Garden with a pole jam at the bottom of the alley. A cement hip is located behind Main Street Dental. At Napa Auto Parts there is a 4 to 5 ft drop into a really sketchy alley/street. Also on the sidewalks downtown there are a few raised manholes that can be wallied. Hill bombs everywhere and a few bank spots located right outside downtown. The cops will most likely come seeing skateboarding is not allowed downtown but just tell them you didn't know and they will be chill.
Plymouth Elementary/Highschool: The elementary school contains a few benches and thats really it. If your feeling really adventureous you can use a bike rack to climb on the roof and skate the huge bank/hip. At the highschool there are two metal benches at the enterance. I would go on the weekends,when schools out, or a night (especially if you want to go on the roof).
Hanaford Marketplace: A few manual pads and a loading dock out back. I'd go at night/weekends because it's very busy in the day and you'll get kicked out otherwise.
Plymouth Courthouse: Only place your "offically allowed" to skate. Nothing really where except a small grass gap/2 stair. I wouldn't even bother.
Shops
Rhino Bike Works: Pretty self explanitory. Hardgoods ONLY.
Food & Drink
Numerous places to eat including; Jose's Mexican, The Hong Kong Garden, Bad Dogs, The Mandarin Taste, Subway, The Lucky Dog and some shitty diners and such. Theres also Chase Street Market and Peppercorns if you just need drinks/healthy food.
Transportation
Better have a car or a buddy that has a car. There is a taxi service using mini vans but I think they're for special needs people.
Note: Plymouth sucks that's why I don't skate there anymore. If your coming to New Hampshire you just might want to skip Plymouth and go to Laconia, Meredith, Concord, Manchester, Keene, or the Portsmouth/UNH/Rye area.

Shops:
Maven, cherry st: Artsy, fashiony boutique place. Some cool art stuff, some lame streetwear stuff.
Talent skatepark: decent shop, decent park in the rain or winter.
Spots:
Waterfront skate park- a meetup spot where you could easily spend the whole day. Two boxes, a pyramid, a u shaped quarterpipe, some banks and a mini. Shitty.
Burton Bowl- at burton snowboards headquaters. 6-8 feet deep. Hips, lines, pool coping, fun times. There is also a smooth 3-4 foot mini next to it.
Assorted street spots, NOTHING worth mentioning or seeking out.
Bomb some of the hills in town.
Food:
New world tortilla- North Winooski. Cheap, big burritos.
Church Street- Marketplace in the center of town. Lots of places to eat.
The OP (other place)- north winooski. The only bar in town worth going to. Good crowd, cheap drinks.
Buffalo, NY
Shops:
Sunday skate/bmx: potomac ave. off of elmwood. Probably my favorite shop. Down to earth, good vibe, decent product selection, and the best meetup spot.
Spots:
Your best bets for spots are to meet up at sunday and tag along with some people there. If you want to go at it alone, hop on the train and you can get off at any of the above ground spots and find ledges, stairs and gaps to skate anytime after 5ish. The other big local spot is trackmasters. It's a parking lot with a bunch of banks that you can grind/slide and one that you can skate like a hip. Take main to north street and head east a two blocks. Across the street are some chunky cement ledges that slide pretty well but you might need some wax to grind.
There is a skatepark called xtreme wheels, but don't go. It sucks.
Food:
Amy's place on main street in university heights is probably my favorite place to eat in town. Cheap, greasy, delicious food.
Elmwood avenue from allen to buffalo state is full of little restaurants, coffee houses and shit like that. Allen street has a bunch of decent bars.
Boston, MA
Shops:
True East: Downtown crossing. A small shop that doesn't always have the best selection, but it's in the heart of downtown and it's a great meetup spot.
Orchard: Tremont Street in Mission Hill. A cool shop that you can run into a lot of people sporting brown cords, half cabs and white teeshirts.
Spots:
The new england aquarium is generally hassle free. Ledges, a manual pad and flatground. Honestly, rather than telling you the spots I am just going to tell you to meet up with people and skate around, or just skate around with whoever you are traveling with. Boston is super fun to just cruise around and see what you can find. The financial district is hit or miss, but after 5 you can usually at least get a few tries in anywhere.
Food:
Qdoba- assorted locations around the city. Great burritos. Fresh guac daily. Cheap.
The north end- lots of italian food here, and there are some great deals to be had.
I'm yet to find a decent bar in boston that isn't plagued with annoying kids from the 9,000 colleges there. The Sunset cantina on comm ave is a bit pricy, but they have a great beer selection and some decent food. If you are looking for decent, inexpensive places to drink, head away from downtown and towards brookline and allston.

Red Rails- low seven stair handrail and a low six stair handrail back to back. good for lines.
Quail Hollow- smooth seven stair with a good handrail that starts on the sixth stair.
Box Spot- Parking garage with a couple boxes and a flatbar(sometimes).
Park Road Gap- Nice size gap that everybody skates
Downtown- Lots of different spots; good to skate at night
Skateparks:
Grayson- Big concrete skatepark with a huge bowl.
Shamrock- Old metal skatepark in a bad part of town
Soul Ride- Good indoor air conditioned park.
Food: Phat Burrito- right down the street from Black Sheep; really good

Memphis
Downtown there's a weird sculpture zered b/s flipped it and wallie b's 5/0d it in vicious circle, and i think dan drehobl had a trick on it. ive never heard of anyone getting kicked out but ive never been there so idk. but its pretty big and its on main street so its pretty hard to miss if you ever come down here.
Also, theres a nine or eight stair around that several kids around here have had tricks on. but idk about any pros.
Once you take I-40 in town theres an abandoned sheriffs substation that has these mega huge banks, dropping in on them is a challenge but i ollied into them from the 14 stair you can see it on my profile pic myspace.com/jaredshort. ive also got a few frontside ollies and kickflips on them. they are too much fun but my friends bitch and moan everytime we go so i never get to skate them enough.
bartlett high school has a nine stair rail and another 8 stair on the other side of the building but i fucking hate stairs so i never skate there.
Houston skate park is in collierville behind houston high school and it is my favorite park its concrete there is no pad rules but it has no lights.

Corpus Christi, TX
Shops:
Straight Skate located on Everhart. Decent skater owned shop with an alright selection. The owner is pretty knowledgeable and the shop carries some good brands. This is my favorite Corpus shop.
Momentum located on South Staples. Limited selection. This shop used to be MD Surf & Skate, which appealed to a less skate crowd. Not my favorite, though the place I stay when I am in Corpus is about two minutes walking distance, so I pop in every once in a while.
Benjamin's located on Airline and McArdle. Don't ever go here. I don't think it is a chain shop, but it has that same feel as Fast Foward or any other chain shop.
Spots:
Ask someone at a skateshop for directions. They are much more knowledgeable about spots. At the very end of the seawall there is a seven stair at the American Bank Center, as well as a three stair. There is a parking lot across the street the has a decent gap to bank. There is a pretty fun ditch on the far South side across from a park near a bunch of houses. The ditch is on Cedar Pass.
Skateparks:
Corpus Christi Skatepark. This park is a free pad less concrete park located on Ocean Drive right next to Cole Park. Decent sized park that is in a centralized area. The park is mainly a bowl, though there are a few ledges and rails. The park is almost always extremely crowded due to its main location. just go downtown, sundays are best, but generally after 7 is good and if you skate in the loop wait until the bike cops are off work at 11:00. Unlike say, LA (BOOOOOOOOO) you can actually skate spot to spot ( at least downtown) and or just take a train to some other neighborhood and explore.
wicker park has some spots ( the neighborhood uprise is in), Clemente high school is skater central
Transport:
the public transport, though getting more and more expensive the CTA is where it's at, and if you get a day pass, a week pass, or a month pass, avaiable at any check cashing or whatever place, it's a bargain if you take the train/bus more than twice a day.
Food:
i miss chicago food so bad
Pequad's pizza is a must, at Webster & Clybourn, the best Chicago Pizza, $5 lunch special is the best, a small ( not that small) pizza and a beer, so gooood.
Billygoats, it's downtown, it's cheap, it's on lower wacker drive (another good skate spot for the colder wetter days)
Pizza Metro, again, wicker park, another skater hub
Potbelly's, a chicago chain that makes good subs

Wilson: on the northside, fairly easy to get to on the train, good bowls, some street stuff, is lit up at night
31st: a great idea poorly executed but still very fun, this is on the southside, it is tough to get to by bus, it can be done, but driving recomended, not lit up at night
the new ledge park: it's in the south loop... i forget the address, but it's dope, lots of recycled plastic benches by this cool dude Dan Peterman.. it's a little south of the art institute (which used to be a great spot), the park is lit up at night.
so that's that, go to Uprise, go to Pequads, skate the ledge park until 11:00, then go skate the loop and that's a good day

I seriously can't be fucked looking through the whole thread, but if you're ever in Melbourne, AUS, try to only buy your booze from a chain called 'Dan Murphys'. They sell alcohol so fucking cheap it seems unbelievable at first. Plus, one store near my house let's me skate in their massive, smooth-as, enclosed carpark without any hassles (if there are any fellow Australians on this board, don't even ask, cause NO-ONE is fucking with this spot but me - sorry, but too many fuckfaces spoil the broth).

But our version of EMB had gone, Chung Sheng Plaza got knobbed. Not really knobbed though, they put several green carpets on the staircases and other obstacles, it is still skateable, but not that fun as before.

Bakersfield is great. we have a shitty skatepark, lots of nice stairs and rails, ledges, and the worst pollution you could breathe. it's lovely.

Kvernaland, Norway
Shop: Well, we don't have any skateshops. But if we take the train/bus or drive to Sandnes or Stavanger, there's a coulpe of shops waiting for us (about 10 miles to the closest)
Spots: We use to have this little flatground with a ledge and these small flatbars and kickers, but it's been torn down, making place for new apartments. But we do have two ramps. A big one with a spine and extensions which suck because it's so worn down, but we have a new one that's cool, although you can't really grind too long on it, because it isn't wide enough. If you look really hard around here, you might find something remotely skateable, but really, it sucks.
Transportation: Buses and trains taking you to those good spots outside of here. Stavanger, Oslo, Bryne and so on.
Food: Uhm, we have like this little pizzashop I think, and two grocery stores.
Summary: So that's it. Sucky, as you can see. Anyways, if someones ever going to Norway, I would gladly try and help them out in any way, just give me a word.

Herena park- located on main street in downtown. ledges, bonks, 7 stair rail/kink rail, double set if your gnarly. spot is bust free and the "hot spot" right now.
Courthouse- rail into steep bank, also ledges/manny pads. this spot just recently became a bust, you can try after 5 but dont get your hopes up.
Piss ledges/stinky- located behind union market in downtown. one long ledge that gets higher and higher, bum hangout, keep your eyes open, bust free.
Civic Center- 12 stair and 15 stair both with a rail. go there if you want to "throw down" and be a faggott. after 5 shouldn't be a bust.
random downtown spots- city is small, lurk around downtown and youll find some shit, keep your eyes pealed, gangsters lurk heavy.

Junction skate park-indoor park located in springfield. 892 carew street
Agawam skate park- outdoor park located in Agawam, a neighboring town of Springfield. my personal favorite park, go there and get stabbed.

Beautiful Pasadena California, just a lil east of Los Angeles.
Spots: Not much honestly. For a town covered in concrete there sure isn't too much that is shred worthy. Some fun wallrides on Colorado blvd.
Shops: Also, not much. A Val Surf in Old Town that feels more like a mall store, but Weston Correa works there, and he's the homie.
Parks: Pieceashit ramptech park in the ghetto. Not even worth it if you live by it. However, nice and close to the Highland Park park and the Glendale Park.
Really, the best thing about the 'Dena is that is nice and easy to get anywhere else in the LA area.
There are quite a few bored cops around here though, watch your ass.
Food on the other hand, we got. Pasadena is famous for its grub scene. Every spot in Old Town is worth hitting, check out Lucky Boy on Arroyo for the breakfast burritos

Only places worth trying is Greeks Pizza and Martenellies lil Italy.
If you wanna meet up with some skaters just go to the skatepark located on the west end of town, its just a shit modular place but for some reason we go there.
I kid I grew up with in AZ married a girl from Salina a little over a year ago. Small world. We flew out there for the wedding and man did that place seem dreary... Seems like a good place to score meth.

UC Berkeley campus. Your allowed to skate on the campus for transportation, so just don't stay at one spot too long. Its the cops policy to give you a formal warning before giving you a ticket, so if you've never had your name written down you don't really need to worry about being fined. Its best to go when schools not in session, especially at night. Check the art musuem.
Shop: 510 at Bancroft and Telegraph.

If you ever come here, go to the bus station take bus #&, this will lead you to Split, Croatia.
Spots: when you get off the station go down towards the sea, on your left you will see four sets of five stairs all with enough space inbetween them to set up. Also ledges there. Now keep going down the street more, and youll see the farmers market (outdoor) and to the right of it there will be a park with a fountain in it, there is a billion ledges all around it and this is where all the skaters meet up at.
Shops: Atlantis Skateshop www.atlantisskate.hr check for directions
Parks: none it got torn down
Skate Scene: lots of people all older, like 15 and 16 to like some hesh ass thirty year olds, rarely will you see little kids around, ive never see one.

wicker park has some spots ( the neighborhood uprise is in), Clemente high school is skater central
Transport:
the public transport, though getting more and more expensive the CTA is where it's at, and if you get a day pass, a week pass, or a month pass, avaiable at any check cashing or whatever place, it's a bargain if you take the train/bus more than twice a day.
Food:
i miss chicago food so bad
Pequad's pizza is a must, at Webster & Clybourn, the best Chicago Pizza, $5 lunch special is the best, a small ( not that small) pizza and a beer, so gooood.
Billygoats, it's downtown, it's cheap, it's on lower wacker drive (another good skate spot for the colder wetter days)
Pizza Metro, again, wicker park, another skater hub
Potbelly's, a chicago chain that makes good subs

Wilson: on the northside, fairly easy to get to on the train, good bowls, some street stuff, is lit up at night
31st: a great idea poorly executed but still very fun, this is on the southside, it is tough to get to by bus, it can be done, but driving recomended, not lit up at night
the new ledge park: it's in the south loop... i forget the address, but it's dope, lots of recycled plastic benches by this cool dude Dan Peterman.. it's a little south of the art institute (which used to be a great spot), the park is lit up at night.
so that's that, go to Uprise, go to Pequads, skate the ledge park until 11:00, then go skate the loop and that's a good day

coastline- in my eyes coastline is the worst and fakest shop in town at the moment. not a single person there skates and every single one of the staff is a complete kook. they hold the only nike sb and adidas skateboarding accounts in vic but only because they were a westbeach before they changed the name to coastline. there team as i know is only court watt, who fuckin rips and is a dope guy in general.
sitka- sitka is a shady surf shop thats main demographic is poser college kids that flock to buy there played out cheaply made overseas garments in droves. both of the owners have quite a bit of controversy floating around them for some crazy overseas scame they pulled plugging there brand in canada.there team is really good but the majority of the guys who ride for the shop hate it and would rather be on a different shop. the majority of them drink alot aswell and dont really skate often, but when they do are quite good.

Shops: Blacksheep is the best one really. Shit load of shoes and boards. A bunch of clothes that are nice, but expensive. Good shop decks though.

well andrew 8)vic west is gnarly as fuck sometimes, but if you shred and arent afraid of club and or knife wielding twelve year olds its not that bad. naw its really not that bad, fuckin really great layout . that park thats close to uvic is gordo, shit layout but the best vibes in town. gordo can be alot of fun if you get creative. dont be a puss, go skate vicwest.

I dont know if anyone of you will visit Taipei in the future.
But our version of EMB had gone, Chung Sheng Plaza got knobbed. Not really knobbed though, they put several green carpets on the staircases and other obstacles, it is still skateable, but not that fun as before.

this is one city that has yet to have been ravaged in socal so unfortuintley theres a lot of unskated spots that ive skated that get sandblasted and i really dont want to give them out, howevee if you happene to stop buy i will be more than willing to play tour guide.

pomona has a heavy mexican population so there are tons of good mexican eats, my favorites inclue:
mexico lindo-right off garey and 11th. if you come here strictly stick to the asada.
tacos jalisco-on mission a stones throw away from downtown. this place everything on the menu is perfect, dont be afaraid to try anything unless you are afraid to have a heart attack cause this food is mad greasy.
el merindero-this is the definate nacho spot, im talking about real nachos.

pomona has a variety of shops and places to run through to look and spend money.
platform skateshop-recently opened shop trying to do thinsg right, unfortinatley the last few times ive gone back they havnt stoked what ive wanted/needed so was forced to buy stuff i really didnt want, but ill be in there in about a half hour to talk about those new carroll selects, maybe this time theyll get something right.
globe/radiofutura- globe is this kind of hip hop/grafiti place where you can find all kinds of shirts, pens, hats etc and right nextdoor is this dj shop where they got all sorts of vinyl that your average turntablist might desire.
antique row- antique row is this block on second street that used to be refered to as the pomona mall. since then all the stores that used to be macys and nordstroms are all antique shops. and honestly youll never know what you are gunna find. the best ones are the two storie shops and most have basements. antique row is a great way to kill two hours.
analog haven- i dunno hwo many people are into synths, moogs etc but this is the place to be. they let you test the equipment and kind of let you louge around.
la bomba-wall to wall vintage clothing. think of it as a thrift store with jacked up prices.
hang outs:
donwtown-2nds street, downtown, whatever you wanna call it this reall the only place where the hang outs are. theres a venue downtown called the glasshouse that generally has good shows(has been lacking recently but is on its way to make an up again). every second saturday is art walk where the local artist show off there goods. chat with snobs drink some wine and just enjoy your self. theres tons of gallaries etc. anywhere outside of downtown is generally dead and youll have to head into L.A. for the night life. take the 10 or 60 west for about half an hour.

You can even skate the banks on the opposite side of that hip. It's a bit steeper and the crack at the bottom gets harsh in a few sections but it's still a fun spot. On the weekends the pedistrian traffic is pretty mellow as well.

Miami. Great city with a free train system to go around the whole city and stop every few hundred feet. Great spots. Great weather. Some spots you may know of from videos are ADP, the white 7 hubba Wenning did SS Back Smith. NMB, The blue 7 hubba Ryan Gallant does Flip FS Noseslide. Triangle, don't think it needs any explanation, but the triangle Johan did FS Nosegrind. Wade D did SS Ollie in.. right in the center of Downtown. Downtown has TONS of spots within a close skating distance that can be a bust but you can always go to the next one and when you get kicked out of there go back the one before that for however long. Over the bridge, a 5 minutes bus ride will take you to Janoski benches, the wooden benches on the pier Janoski has the long line at ending with the perfect SS Front Heel on flat. Rooftops, the roofs Ben Gore did Fullcab Flip on in Static 3. Can be a big bust if you get caught. Plus its a super sketchy spot and most people are pussy to go up. Its all about to fall down and you have to go up a little rusty ladder with a drop under it of about 60 feet into broken seats and glass. So many more spots I can't even begin to name. Plus theres so many more South Beach spots. MIA shop is in South Beach. "Foot Soldiers" is a shop in downtown that is like a Hip Hop/Graffiti/Skate shop. Overall, Miami is raw as fuckkkk.

Spots:
-there's really no one spot that everyone can meet up at or anything that amazing at all, but the city itself is very skate-condusive, with a downtown full of rolling hills and great bomb spots, with tons of little things along the way. i'm told there are spots out in the suburbs but i never bother.
-the world famous Psycho Ditch, located on 45th between guadalupe and lamar (KOTR ed templeton frontside rock with a straitjacket on). its located across from the state mental ward hence the name. actually a very fun weekend spot, you can even BBQ there.
Shops:
-the newest and coolest shop is "No Comply", owned and operated by none other than jake nunn and elias bingham. located in a rad part of south austin, it's a small shop but they stock good stuff.
-Find N Grind, pretty awesome little local-run shop. they have a mini in the back, just ask and i'm sure they'll let you skate it. the owners of this shop also run a little board company, Brown Boards.
Locals: everyone is cool, the city itself is laid back and finding fellow schralpers is pretty easy. you're best bet is to hit up one of the shops and you'll probably find a good crew to show you around or at least point you in the right direction.
Eats: kinda too many to name. the whole city is riddled with cheap mexican joints, super authentic shit. the best as far as price and quality is Tamale House, on airport blvd. a full taco dinner with all the fixings is $3.25 out the door. also check out Thundercloud Subs for the best sandwiches in town, or if you've got some money to spend you can check out the Whole Food World Headquarters and load up on some healthy shit.
Booze: if you've ever been to austin you know finding a bar aint hard. it all depends on what you want in a bar.
-for a dark sleazy spot to get completely hammered and probably bump into other skaters, Jackalope is the best bet. its big and has a nice outdoor portion with a firepit.
-pretty much just go downtown and wander around until you find something that looks bearable. if you're feeling trendy and wanna get laid hit up Beauty Bar on 7th for all the latest in hipster girls with tiny headbands, dudes on fixies, and DJs that get paid way too much.

Skatology ( bel air) for the latest in duffel fan-fare, all over print hoodies, ltd nikes, etc.
3 ride for snowboards and maybe some shoes and girls
i've heard rumors that charm city exists, i haven't been though.
Spots: Ridge Lumber: vacant lot with dude made ledges quarters super steep bank to curb, drops, jersey walls. pretty fun, mellow, always people there. little kid factor: 6/10
Downtown: legg mason, inner harbor, federal hill, etc. all smooth shit, real fun. instant bust at most places though. they will kick you out without question, but cruise the neighborhoods for sweet cellar doors and janky shit.
Dundalk Pavillion: longgg 3 and 2 stairs, some rough ledges, a bank.
Towson: mini city, super fun for a day, banks, ledges, street gaps, wall rides, garages with curbs and mannys. fun shit.
Landsdowne: way old park, huuuge snake run, cement bowls, real fun, full pads. complete with metal street course haha and 4 foot mini that is ridiculous fun to hit up, kind of in a sketchy neighborhood though.
Old Hillen movie theatre: Two ads in thrasher taken here..loading docks into banks (tom guielfuss wallride ad) three monster steep banks next to pretty heavy traffic, red painted curbs. pretty fun. there's little shit all around...
there's also 3 or 4 other free metal parks. notice i said metal....
Food: chipotle downtown, panera/potbelly for sandwiches. zia's in towson for veg food. there's food everywhere, if it looks good it probably is. fells point/federal hill for real good eats.
Night life: downtown anywhere, for easy hipster girls hit up sonar on fridays..free drinks before 11. dollar beers in towson on wednesdays. shows at the ottobar, complete with smiths nights every two weeks.
overall its pretty tight. there's steps and rails everywhere, flat ground. ground is rough in some places, but you get over it.
also, york pa is just 30 minutes away and theyve got sick spots in their downtownish area, which is literally 4 blocks wide.

Freedman's Cemetary banks/wall
behind the justice center is a cemetary with banks that start off low and hit a peak in the middle. ridiculously steep at the highest point. There is a stair set in the middle, also at the beginning there is a stump that you can carve around if you're able to do a nose bonk on the wall. The wall is wicked burly, made out of cobblestone, nothing less than 60mm is going to make it off without an ensuing slam.

behind Spinzanellis coffee shop there is a white hip high ground rail that is built into a brick foundation. it's good for regular skaters to slide and gooft skaters can grind it. It's got a nice slanted run up.

take the subway to the Bellas Artes Station and skate around, same for the Altamira Station, around Altamira you can find some really fun hills and other spots, skate around and ask the locals everybody is cool down here. There's fun wallride spot that i think Karma rides on one of the Consolidated videos, but i would never go downtown here by myself, it's like asking to get shot at, yeah it's that dangerous, i used to go on sundays with the locals which were really cool because there's other stuff to skate downtown, but it's too dangerous to go by myself, and most of the locals i used to skate with left the country, because the truth is this country is in shambles and everybody wants to leave regardless of what you may see on the news.
oh the downtown subway station is called Capitolio.
cops aren't that much of an issue, but your personal safety is, only around Chacao and Altamira i'd relax every other station be on your guard,

no shops, you could find some shitty local boards but nothing else, at the Sambil mall which is around the Chacao subway station. most boards are 7.5 so better bring your stuff, you could maybe find griptape but nothing else.
there's a shop that sells vans shoes that's around the Sabana Grande blvd, take the subway to Sabana Grande, then walk down to the next station which is Chacaito station, it's right in the middle in the second floor of a ghetto mini mall

Berkeley Skatepark on 5th and Harrison
"skate plaza" thing on Martin Luther King between Center and Allston
Spots:
UC Berkeley campus. Your allowed to skate on the campus for transportation, so just don't stay at one spot too long. Its the cops policy to give you a formal warning before giving you a ticket, so if you've never had your name written down you don't really need to worry about being fined. Its best to go when schools not in session, especially at night. Check the art musuem.
Shop: 510 at Bancroft and Telegraph.

from 510, it's every great spot in berkeley is within a 10 minute skate
the campus holds half of them, but it can be a bust
art museum's great, you can hit it weekdays after 5pm
skateplaza (peacewall) is awesome, and if you're there and feeling stairs, go a block over to berkeley high for a fine selection

The Sunset cantina on comm ave is a bit pricy, but they have a great beer selection and some decent food. If you are looking for decent, inexpensive places to drink, head away from downtown and towards brookline and allston.

Spots: SC Park: My favorite spot in sc cause its not a bust and it has the best transition around.

-there's really no one spot that everyone can meet up at or anything that amazing at all, but the city itself is very skate-condusive, with a downtown full of rolling hills and great bomb spots, with tons of little things along the way. i'm told there are spots out in the suburbs but i never bother.
-the world famous Psycho Ditch, located on 45th between guadalupe and lamar (KOTR ed templeton frontside rock with a straitjacket on). its located across from the state mental ward hence the name. actually a very fun weekend spot, you can even BBQ there.
Shops:
-the newest and coolest shop is "No Comply", owned and operated by none other than jake nunn and elias bingham. located in a rad part of south austin, it's a small shop but they stock good stuff.
-Find N Grind, pretty awesome little local-run shop. they have a mini in the back, just ask and i'm sure they'll let you skate it. the owners of this shop also run a little board company, Brown Boards.
Locals: everyone is cool, the city itself is laid back and finding fellow schralpers is pretty easy. you're best bet is to hit up one of the shops and you'll probably find a good crew to show you around or at least point you in the right direction.
Eats: kinda too many to name. the whole city is riddled with cheap mexican joints, super authentic shit. the best as far as price and quality is Tamale House, on airport blvd. a full taco dinner with all the fixings is $3.25 out the door. also check out Thundercloud Subs for the best sandwiches in town, or if you've got some money to spend you can check out the Whole Food World Headquarters and load up on some healthy shit.
Booze: if you've ever been to austin you know finding a bar aint hard. it all depends on what you want in a bar.
-for a dark sleazy spot to get completely hammered and probably bump into other skaters, Jackalope is the best bet. its big and has a nice outdoor portion with a firepit.
-pretty much just go downtown and wander around until you find something that looks bearable. if you're feeling trendy and wanna get laid hit up Beauty Bar on 7th for all the latest in hipster girls with tiny headbands, dudes on fixies, and DJs that get paid way too much.
I just moved to austin a month ago, so this is very useful. I live on lamar so I'm going to be checking out that ditch very soon. Well, all of its useful except for the getting laid part because girls are stupid.

I've only been to that park once, and that's because me and some friends I skate with at Wilson one time decided to make an epic trek from Wilson Skate to Logan Square. A bunch of critics standing around at Logan. Looks like a meet-up spot for some of the local fuck ups.

Uprise skate shop- There are a few Skateshops outside of the city limits, but specifically, Uprise Skateshop is your main one. Cool dudes who encourage D.I.Y. and showed me how to put Bearings on my board when I didn't know how. They've been in business for a bit over a decade now, and if you're ever in the Chicago area these are THE people to ask about spots, or just chat random shit with.

Chicago Skate cafe- This is a smaller place right down the street from Wilson skate park. You'll probably see the dude wearing huge Gauge earrings working over there. They are cool dudes, its a skater themed coffee shop, but as of now they aren't authorized to sell any caffeine products, due to some holdups because of the architecture of the building. Its a pretty comfortable place, so stop by and watch some skate videos, or buy something to support their shop.
Spots
Downtown Chicago is littered with or near great places to skate. Nice marble leges, and manny pads. Many 6, 7, and 8 stairs(Me and some guys found a 10 stair before). There's the East Monroe Garage gap which is known around town. The vent gap is right behind the East Monroe Gap. I can't exactly remember where it was, but I remember on the side of a building(It might have been near East Monroe) there was a NICE little marble park and I have no idea how I found it. Me and some friends go behind this school called Walt Disney(There are pictures of Disney characters drawn all over). Behind the school there's tons of flatground, ledges, manny pads. There's a little park, in Lincoln Park right in between some apartments with a bench, and some nice little ledge all around where you can get some nice rock to fakie stuff going on. I see a lot of Skaters by the Daley Center as well and in that surrounding area. Just if you skate downtown don't count on being in one spot for too long, but it should be no biggie as it shouldn't be too hard to find another interesting spot.

Wilson Skatepark is the one you can find everyone at usally. Kind of in Uptown Chicago.
Grant Skate Plaza- 90% flat. There's a manny pad that Redbull built, some benches, and some other stuff that really isn't too high impact. Near Downtown Chicago.
Burnham Skatepark- 31st Lake shore drive. Right near the lake. A lot of people in Chicago don't like this park, but I like it. It doesn't flow as well as it could, but there's a pool and some other fun stuff there to do. Easy to practice in, because I've hardly ever seen it at max capacity.
I'm shit at explaining so rather than explain when I have free time I'll Skate around Chicago and take pictures of whatever I find Skatable as I go along.
Food
Chicago is World renowned for its deep-dish Pizza which gives new meaning to the word "Pizza Pie". For Chicago pizza check out Gino's East, Giordano's, Lou Malnati's. For an authentic Italian deli sandwich there's Bari's. Halsted Street Deli also makes a pretty damn good sandwich. Garrett's popcorn is worth a look. Rainbow Cone is also a must try. Goose Island Beer is also pretty good so you should check that out
Shop
Jugrnaut if you're into whatever trendy street fashion. Belmont Army is about the same. The Magnificent Mile is worth checking out. The Water Tower Mall if you're into more upscale-ish shopping(Cheapest stores in there I saw if I recall correctly was an Adidas store and there's also a Lids in there). There's a Levi's store down there and numerous clothing and shopping shops strewn about downtown and up North.
That's Chicago in a nutshell. As I said, I'll see if I can get around to going downtown, and shooting some quick pictures of some of the cooler spots around town.

there's a couple rails. there's a 12 rail right by clemente school. (oviously the clemente rails) bloodbath, walt disney school has a gnarley rail, lanetech, they're all scattered around.

lane tech sucks i live 4 blocks away. it has a six rail but the ground is complete shit and also has 3 and 4 rails. but over the summer the were building a handicap ramp and before the finished it was pretty sick

daytona beach, fl
really. my town sucks, but here goes...
shops
we have stone edge in south daytona on ridgewood. it's also a park. i've only skated the park once, and didn't really like it, but i guess it's not horrible. they have a pretty decent shoe and deck selection, but not much else.
we also have sandy point right south on the same road. not bad. again with the decent shoe and deck selection.
spike's athletic footwear (same road again) is several miles north. they have some harder to find vans (ie. vegan rowleys) but really specialize in basketball and running, so it's not te best.
spots
after the hurricanes, there was this house that got destroyed and abandoned. it had a sick pool. eventually, too many people found out about it, and it got filled with gravel.
in port orange on ridgewood, we have some ledges that are pretty decent.
also on ridgewood, behind the ice rink in south daytona isn't heinous.
beachside is littered with skate stoppers, but there are some bits of area here and there that are pretty cool. just takes some searching.
we also have a free park in ormond, but it's bmx territory, so it can get a little scary once the high schools let out.
food
avocado kitchen is probs our most veggie friendly place. they have a fucking amazing breakfast menu. it's on beach street.
peach valley has some of the best breakfast potatos i've ever had, and the fried artichokes are bomb as fuck. that's in ormond on granada near the beach.
there's a pretty good pizza place in ormond on granada and nova called pizzano's. probably the best pizza in town (although that's not saying much)
in south daytona really close to stone edge, there's a fucking amazing thai place called songkran. they can make anything vegan or vegetarian, too, as long as you specify.
other shit
really, all we do here is drink. or go to orlando, which is way better for everything i mentioned above.
note that if you're in town, just hit me up with a message. if i'm not down to chill, i'll at least give ya some tips on what to do while you're around. a lot of stuff is dependent on what time of year you're around.

16 year old hungover girls staggering in the streets in the mornings. No skate spots. 2 skateshops, one of them is almost dead(I will probably get all my next stuff from orchard haha). Small skate scene. No one cares about us. Bad economy. Russians can get annoying (except skateboarders, they are nice people) . Sometimes the temperature falls down to -22, in daytime it's from 14 to -4(Farenheit). Skateboarding competitions where you can win beer and everyone gets stoned or drunk in the middle of the comp. Good people.
I can't believe that if you go a few kilometers up to Helsinki, it's like skateboarding Mecca there, and everyone is happy about everything. Here everyone looks depressed

A'ala Park is the main one, downtown Honolulu, lights at night and stays open 'til 9PM
It's on Beretania Street in Chinatown, you can't miss it.
Makiki skatepark is really small but pretty fun if not too crowded. Not the best obstacles in there but oh well, it's in town and pretty close to where you'll be.
Park is located in Makiki next to the freeway under the Keeaumoku Street overpass.
Both of those places are mostly street-oriented parks.
No snake runs over here though.
If you're more into flow type parks with bigger tranny stuff go east out to the Hawaii Kai skatepark or hit up the north shore and skate the park up there.
Non skate wise stuff, go to the beach, fool!
Also tons of killer hiking spots and hot chicks everywhere.

Stuff to skate that I know:
Burnside park located under the Burnside bridge, one of the craziest places you will ever skate. Don't be a dick.
Wallride spot (not sure the name) right up the street from Burnside, recent photo of Seth McCullum doing a wall ride nose slide. On MLK.
Pier Park technically St Johns this is the newest city skate park. Home to a huge full pipe and some big bowls, also some granite hubba's on the street course,� it is alright but over run by bikes. Go early and hope no bikes tracks mud though the day before. Check out dreamlands website for photos.
Old Fred Myers way the fuck out on Burnside, chunked ledge, manny pads, fun double sided curb.
Down town has some stuff, push around and check it out, most good stuff is skate proofed, but some gems exist.

Three shops to choose from
Cals- Long time shop, they know their stuff, cater to old school and long boards but carry a lot of new stuff as well
Cals Pharmacy - Shop for the younger "street" guys, super nice people working there. Lots of Nike's for people into that kind of stuff. Right next to the Department of Skateboarding Park which is a fun place to skate on a deary Portland winter day.
Shrunken Head- My shop of choice, run by two gnarly Burnside locals, super cool guys, small selection of stuff but what they have is good. They also threw some good skate jams over the summer. I highly recommend supporting these guys when you can. Also one of their friends "sperm" got hurt and they have been raising money to help him, check them out at www.myspace.com/shrukenhead (http://www.myspace.com/shrukenhead).
They also put on video premiers from time to time.
Food
Veggie House on I believe it is 2th street in China town, all veggie with a 6.50$ all you can eat lunch buffet, even non veggie folks can't pass up a deal like that.
Voodoo Doughnuts I think it is on 1st Everything from vegan doughnuts to ones toped with bacon, open really late and worth checking out.

alot of the street spots are spread out through the suburbs of portland.
zoo bomb: starts on the west edge of portland and takes you into the city.
you can ride the max up to the zoo and take a hill bomb that goes downhill for a good 3-5 miles.
aloha huber high school: pretty new spot, has a bunch of differen hieght ledges.
dust bowl: located down in the pearl district, some metal edge ledges and some banks.
whitiker school: a couple ledges that were made by some locals. located in northeast portland.
allen banks: some really good banks to launch out of, there is a prety fun pole jam going out of one of the banks. located in beaverton.
beaverton library: smooth manual benches.
pcc sylvania: rails, ledges, stairs and alot more, its really only skateable on sundays and holidays.
wild life reserve: lots of gaps and stairs, its the spot that rick mcrank ollies 4 stairs and a gap onto a skinny bench and then kickflips off over a gap and 4 stairs.
ross island half pipes: brent and beach own this spot.

Keller Fountain - roughish ground with some gaps and few manny pads. Lots of water at this spot so have someone on board duty.
Directors Park - newish park with rough granite ground. Couple of wooden benches to manual and a couple small stair sets.
Lincoln High - iconic Portland spot, decent red and white ledges, pretty good flatground and a couple stair sets. Never kicked out but you gotta go after 5 during the week and the high school kids have priority if they need to use the upper for practice or anything.

Esplanade - nice parking lot turned urban plaza right next to the running path on the east bank by OMSI and the fire dept. A couple ledges and manny pads, nice flatground. Almost always a session going on in the afternoon/evening. Never kicked out but watch out for the homeless and drug dealers. Never any problems that I've seen but it's a huge gathering spot.
Unitus Plaza - brick plaza with a marble 5 all the way around the building. ledges around the outside of the plaza but have a big drop on the other side of the fence
South Park blocks 9 stair - 9 stair with a big manny pad to the side of it that is curved. lots of homeless at this spot but seldom kicked out.
South Park blocks marble pad - small piece of granite that you can manual, more likely to get kicked out here than the 9 stair. 5 or so blocks south from the 9 stair
PSU - lots of stuff at PSU. Huge drop, couple 4 and 5 stairs in the PSU Urban Centre (right between MAX stops), PSU tennis courts or soccer field walkway for flatground days, campus security will come if called but don't seem to care otherwise

Food carts galore. There's a couple different food cart areas, one by the max line headed north and one by the street car line headed south.
There are a lot of homeless/druggies in the downtown area.

Everytime someone comes to visit, they always have to mention two things:
1) Pyramid Country?
2) Does everyone make out?
Arizona has way more to offer than that...

by listing places and spots pros and cons.....

ok lets start with WPB lots of spots and hilarious mediocre club kids who have settled well with mediocrity in a shithole city. Now I dont want to shit on this place as it does have decent spots terrific skaters at phipps and no bullshit yall got some talent for Floridugh having some mean talent.. continuing on to describe Floriduh in a nutshell if you aren't rich good luck and godspeed you will be kinda bored?! I do know of Lots of dork spots manual pads and loading docks and ledges as I do renegade DIY ledge spots and I DO NOT POST ON INSTASCAM.....
You are in the area I can tell you of some sick spots but as with every spot dont trash it........
Lake Worth hmmmmm well you have Shredshed downtown decent spot to get gear, spots theres a few loading dock/ stage high ledge....... weird water gap but cobbled stone soft wheels needed...... This place is for the LGBT community and older heads. Some spots but no real beef but great for people watching. Oh and a decent ditch spot but bring your own broom or improvise.....
Boynton Beach well not much there loading docks a few other random spots manny pads umm lots of corny as prefab parks some favorabe some just plain dogshit!!!!! Lantana scooter park And spil and slide Rich kid Park vista.

Ventura, California
A really overpriced coastal town that wannabe hipsters and rich surfers live. There used to be a scene because of Skate Street, and there is a smaller one now. There are a few spots downtown, and there used to be 2 empty pools back on the day that were within a mile of each other. The pools are now filled up/taken out, and the spots that are downtown are minimal. There are a few ledges, and a couple of stair sets, and by the mall there is/was (idk because its blocked off from construction) a parking structure where they had pretty long waxed ledges, and it was a pretty good place to skate in the rain. There's a few rails, and by the freeway, there is a Jersey Barrier spot with a diy quarter. There is also 3 parks, WestPark, Hobert, and Pacific. They are all pretty bad, and WestPark is probably the best. There's pretty good pizza at Tony's. Thats about it.

Shops: Darkslide and Tulip and the skater owned ones hence the best. Darkslide has a huge selection of pretty much everything but shoes (Only Vans and Nike SB) on the other end Tulip has a bunch of Adidas and that would be all. There are other shops like Revolution, Easy Rider, Pop Corn, etc.
Spots:
Stalin Plaza, period. Has everything
Skateparks:
Many like babas, Mystic, etc. But in the end if you go you'll find asking yourself "Why I'm not @ Stalin?"
Food: Burrito loco is a safe bet always.

If in the area honestly go to any other city then this hell hole.....
Shops: Post Modern West Palm Beach cool shop but boutiquey like a Floriduh version of Supreme bit prcey for decks but they have the decks you're looking for.
ShredShed Lake Worhless ummmm if you can stand the owner and buying what would be discounted items at Ross or any toher shop for full price and selling price point decks at full price this shop is for you.
Spots there are quite a few and most are here and there, Stoops Ditch of I-95 10th ave you have to either walk through weeds or ask skate shop.
Blue Bar of Boynton Beach blvd behind psychic white and blue shudders
Eats Lupitas tex mex great burritos and nachos, Tacos el Cabron
Be warned the scene here is weird and selective, very cliquey cliche.
Parks Phipps, Park Vista, Hobbit 505 teen drop in, Royal Palm park, wellington skate park most are prefab parks.

Shops: OneUP skateshop, there are others but it's the only in city limits that actually does anything for the "scene," plus they're all stand up guys.
Spots:
MLK - school surrounded by banks, zero bust factor but the banks have curbs on the bottom. 9 stairs and rails.
Margaret Milliones - (Oakland) steep ass bank you can skate like a quarter pipe (harmony does a fs tailslide bs revert in good and evil) also 3 blocks you can skate like a gap if you can manage the curved runway. also stays somewhat dry when it rains
Downtown - Downtown pittsburgh is like 5 square miles, it's tiny, but there are a lot of fun spots if you can find them. Skateable planters on Grant street. Marble park - ledges of marble with the worst ground ever, a 6 flat 6 (?). 1st ave is probably the most fun, it's like a couple flat gaps and some bumps. just push around and you'll find something.
Atwood lot - (Oakland) meet up spot. it's just a parking lot and a manual pad but it's a good spot to meet up/ meet people. when it isn't complete shit outside, a lot of people meet up on Thursdays
Either go downtown or go to oakland, chances are you'll bump into someone or find stuff on your own.

Small city with good beers and a tight DIY community in Shorewood.
Shops: SkyHigh and Phase 2. SkyHighs cool, I went to a punk show once on the upper level where they have a half pipe. That's the only time I've been there simply because I live on the other side of the city and MCTS sucks. But they raise a lot of money for Estabrook, the DIY, which is rad. Phase 2 is more in the suburbs, out in Wauwatosa. Good friendly atmosphere and shit, used to buy old decks for like 10$ from the guys behind the counter when I was in middle school.
Spots: The Betty Brinn children's museum is always good for some casual ledges, also Discovery World Docks have crisp bleacher ledge combo. Also, warm up at Estabrook, DIY next to the Beer Garden in Estabrook Park.
Also want to mention some of the Slappy curbs underneath the bridge on 8th and national. UW-Milwaukee has some fun spots and the campus cops are always pretty laid back as long as you have a backpack on, and say you got carried away. Riverside High school is a good lowkey ledge spot to hit for when you get kicked out of UWM. As long as the high school kids aren't in class the spot is free reign. But beware, the ledges are some true midwest crust.
Food: Ian's Pizza is fucking good. If you're planning on drinking check out a few bars in the bayview or riverwest area. The Eastside doesn't have too many good bars anymore unless you're looking for some craft microbrew shit, or want to score shitty coke at Landmark. Brady and Water St. is mostly full with college kids and dudes that wear boat shoes with salmon colored shorts. So beware.

-some really really good, new, like handicap rails. The ones not for stairs, just for walking. They just put in a brand new long curved one like a month ago.
-a super long low wall ledge, nobody has skated that I am gonna skate soon
-nude bowl
-An amazing, gnarly, beautiful, perfect ledge that drops 6ft and gaps out sidewalk width. It's like a spot that would become it's own thing if it was in LA. It gnarly but absolutely would have been skated if anywhere else. Hopefully a team hits nude bowl and comes to look for spots and finds it.
-a rail that is like a polejam angle, height, and width. It goes out of the ground and up to like shoulder height flat. You could polejam off the side and I bet someone could get up top.
Theres a thing or two I would have to remember I need to post. People are so creative now this town would be great. I thought there was nothing as a kid, and there really isn't unless you are good. A lot of spots here that look really unique.

Anyone in Charleston, SC?
Im in Beaufort SC which sucks, but im an hour away from Charleston. I try to make it there at least once a month for a session to change up the scenery. Beaufort SC is the worst place for skating though lol.

Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
It is the European Capital of Finance. Lots of bankers and many high rises in downtown, but weirdly enough living here you do not get into contact with that community much. The vibe of the city is a bit hectic and cold. Lots of wealth and lots of misery. As far as nightlife goes it feels like a small town, but its alright there are cool things going on. There is a saying in Germany that no one decides to move to Frankfurt to live, they move here to work. But: People fall in love with the place after they have been here for a few years.
The skate scene is pretty good, even though it is kind of small. There are three major skatshops: railslide, titus and bonkers. Railslide is run by business man who hates skaters. There is a really large skatepark "hafenpark or haze park", which is pretty good, but could have definitely been designed alot better. I hang out there alot since I live close by. I enjoy meeting new skaters there from all over the world. We had a great DIY spot, which was finally torn down about two years ago. People have been trying to build something new, but it is hard to find a new place: Real estate is really expensive here and there is alot of spectualation and coruption when it comes to land in the city. Owners and the city keep tight control over their land. This is probably also the reason we do not have a single indoor skatepark.
I have skated many cities in Germany and street skating in Frankfurt is as least as good as in Berlin or Stuttgart- maybe even better. There are too many spots to name and since the city's architecture is constantly being rebuilt new spots pop up all the time. The better known spots are probably Bockenheim banks (banks and ledges, never a bust!), Hauptwache (stairs ledges and manny pads; it used to be the central spot for all skaters, but it is breaking apart a bit), willy brandt platz and the surrounding skyline district (ledges and lots of spots like low to high ledges and barriers just arround the corner, never a bust), die Welle (one of the best spots in the world in my opinion: banks and wallrides, almost always a bust).
