Best Skateboard product gimmicks/ freebies

I thought this might be an interesting idea for a topic. Do you guys remember any product gimmicks or weird freebies. For example, I heard that there was a Deck that came with one Camel Cigarette and one match. Some more recent ones I remember are the Cardiel spitfire classics that came with a tray to roll weed on. Miles griptape comes with a plastic razor blade is another. My all time favorite has to be the Torey pudwill hardware that came in a weed grinder. Anyone got some crazy ones they remember?

I wish OJ would do more silly gifts with their wheels. Koozies are cool and all but they need to bring back the weird ones, I bought a set because it had a cassette tape with it.

I still have mine lol. I think they came with the Daewon “12’ers” or something. Those shoes literally ripped all the way through within 3 sessions but the board is still in my desk drawer lol. I also have that Anti Hero beer stick thing!

Element reese Forbes "forbinator" bearings came in a little canvas army pouch you could attach to your belt. Perfect size for an early 00s Nokia (altho I never ran the phone on belt look)

World had bearings in both a stick of dynamite and a grenade.

A friend had a sick speed demons character keyring that I think came with some clear green wheels.
Anytime there's extra like 6 pack wheels, 10 bearings or bolts

I used these a bunch in the early 00’s. I got busted twice using em two, in situations where you never woulda thought cops woulda noticed them not being coke, but came over from a distance! Just had to pour em out both times, at like semi ok drinking situations (concert and like a fair type deal). I had a bunch of em I think they gave a stack to my local shop.

I used to have a Hollywood necklace that came with a Kris Markovich deck. Was a silver chain with a HW logo pendant. I thought the little grip tape strips that came with decks were so cool when I was 12 (world, blind, A team)

This local shop here did a free dvd copy of Vicious Cycle with the purchase of a Zoo deck about 2 decades ago. I bought a Forrest Kirby.

Shoe companies need to start attaching the rubber decals of their logos to the shoe again. Ran a Circa one hard as a kid.

I also remember the DGK video that came in a big cardboard sleeve that included some stickers, a calendar, and a I ❤️ HATERS lanyard. I used that lanyard all throughout college, had to let 'em know.

Damn...i have a different graphic from a pair and still have it. Its a bit scratched from my kids always carpet boarding with it but hyped to know someone else was hyped on these as much as me lol.

i had that t pud grinder but my mom threw it away when it started smelling funny

i liked those little army pendants that used to come with thunder trucks, i have like 5 attached to my keys

Not really a gimmick but I always liked it when boards came with some extras, don't really see it much these days outside of maybe a basic logo sticker. I remember Heroin boards often coming with board series specific stickers (or the Shimizu deck with the foil scratch off competition), a couple of Fos zines, dimension lists etc. Ben Gore Scumco collab that came with a zine was cool.
