that really made me want to go out and skate. Red curbs rule.
But what's the purpose of boards with an 80s shape?
C'mon man, it's 2013.

Because they are fun to skate! I for one am bored of the same old two tail shaped boards and thankful for companies changing it up a bit!! Skateboarding should cater to all skaters not just certain ones!
-
Great, so now the little kids are gonna be spraying their soda all over the place and getting my wheels sticky?

I doubt most little kids will watch this, know who Jason Adams is or give a fuck about Elephant Skateboards.
-
still got it!
-
not and never gonna hate on jason adams, but who can you re-use a song that was in such an iconic skate video?

The Kid will always be gold standard
-
Everyone is gonna be running that 270 tailslide thing. I wish I could figure out frontside slappies instead of just bashing into curbs like an idiot

Because, as far as I can tell, this is a coca-cola ad. You think coke gives a shit about sorry?

alex chalmers called... he wants his cokes back
-
i thought he was being all ironic, like making fun of Monster's placement advertising. Is Coke really getting in the mix?
-
Unhateable? I just watched possibly a coke ad, with that song and a grotty human doing a bunch of shitty slappies I don't think the H word is strong enough to express how I feel about this clip.
Haven't even mentioned the elephant board.
-
the faction is a band steve caballero's in and adams and cab are friends. from what i gather on the internet, that song was pretty popular back in the day.
jason adams has an amazing style thats uniquely his. dudes the best.

so much lol @ u
-
Well that was awesome.
-
Ummmm I think you guys are missing the point here... by a lot.
I'm guessing Jason Adams probably wanted to make an edit for Elephant so they went to a curb to do a bunch of slappy variations for fun. He happend to be drinking a coke and said "Remember that song? Lets use it!"
This DOESN'T mean its COKE ADVERTISEMENT, no where in there did it say "drink our fantastic and delicious soda!". I don't think Jason Adams or Elephant skateboards are enough "out there" do be doing advertising for Coke...
-
Alright history lesson for you guys! In the early 80's all the San Jose skaters would go to 7 - 11 and get big gulps of coke - cola and then go skate scrubs (popular curb spot there in the 80's). This Faction song is about that. This is not a Coke commercial, it's just Jason paying homage to his youth!
-
The king of slappies! That board looks so fun :)
-
The Kid!

label kills was one of the first videos i saw as a kid and it was also the first time i saw someone do a slappie. it was honestly more mind blowing than any kind of flip to grind tricks people were doing because i seriously couldnt understand how he grinded a curb without ollieing.

Oh man, I somehow had never seen that Label Kills part ^^. Instantly just became one of my favorites, and made me respect the guy even more.
-
Also, seriously fuck Andy Roy for hating on him.

Same. There wasn't much variety in skating in 2001. Seeing this part back then probably has a lot to do with why I still skate.

What Sean said...Adams used to rock the punk point back in the early 2000's when no one was really wanting that shit or cared for it.

The thing with the Elephant boards is they are "old school" shaped with "modern concave"
