Hitting up San Francisco on honeymoon, so not as much skating as I would like to. Really appreciate recommendations on Eating and bars. Good shit to check out that isn't the obvious. Any advice fully appreciated.

When I stayed in SF i at at El Matete, Good Mexican Good Price, and my homie i was staying with lived directly next door, so it was convenient.

I also ate at Giordano Bros. 3 times in my 5 day stay, fuck I drool thinking about that steak sandwich with an egg on it. The food was good, the beers were cheap and the atmosphere was laid back. can't wait to go back!

If you're into brunch/mimosas Sycamore is rad. Bottomless mimosa is maybe 10 bucks or even 12 but it's totally worth it, they're so on top of it you'll take a sip of your mimosa and turn around and it'll be full again. If you're down with the Jewish Deli, Wise Sons makes a fantastic reuben and other sandwiches.

If you mess with popusas, Balompie Cafe is a nice place in the mission that has a chill soccer theme.

Super Duper burger on Market/16th.
Rhea's Deli on Valencia/19th- chicken Katsu sandwich is no joke.
Brunch and bottomless mimosas at Sycamore, mission st/Sycamore st. (in between 16th and 17th st)
Zeitgeist is mandatory. bloody mary and burgers, brats etc..
Emmies Spaghetti shack is fucking awesome too. mission st/30thst
Ikes sandwiches is up there too.
Memphis minnies BBQ, haight/steiner.
That should get you started.

Taqueria el farolito on mission is a must, plus you can catch a few quick wallrides next door at the bart station. Also, saigon sandwich on larkin in the tenderloin has the best banh mi for hella cheap.

Coi , SF legend been and is on the top 50 list . Awesome head chef and great food
Benu , ex headchef of french laundy and per se . broke out of thomas kellers wing / shadow and opend up a amazing place , they got their first star really quick
AQ , a really cool / great / amazing place , while I havent been there its one of the restaurants in the US I would really like to visit and prob work at . very seasonal menu and even the restaurant changes with the seasons
B Patisserie , My friends place , really good sandwiches and even better pasty , its often mentioned of the best places in SF to get a pasty/ or tart or evereything ells , must visit place

if you like oysters, swan oyster depot is cool, but get there on the early side as there's always a line.
saigon sandwich on larkin in the tenderloin has the best banh mi for hella cheap.
another good and cheap bahn mi spot is the stall at main and market st.
ichi in bernal heights has really good sushi. best i've had in the city. can get expensive fast, though.

miss saigon- mission and sixth- best pho in city, for dollar more you can get filet mignon instead
monarch- across street from miss saigon, probably my favorite nightclub in the city..its a bar upstairs, club in the basement
sweet woodruff-sutter and leavenworth- owned by same people as michelin star restaurant sons and daughters, except a meal will cost you $15 instead of $300...basically its the sluttier younger sister of the expensive restuarant
limon- mission- great peruvian, and a good atmosphere for a date
zuni cafe
saturday morning ferry building farmers market! i promise this will be worthwile, eat some delicious oysters at hog island's stand, get mexican breakfast at primavera (despite what others say, this is the best mexican in SF, too bad only once a week), and so many other good vendors, grab some flowers from there on way back for your room too
capo's- north beach deep dish pizza joint by same person as tony's pizza

SPQR is really good. Located in lower pac heights on fillmore. They also have a sister restaurant, A16, in the Marina.
Q in the inner richmond is tight but I've heard that they're closing soon. Go get some mac and cheese and Tater Tots!
Rheas is solid. 19th and Valencia.
Axum Cafe is a hole in the wall Ethiopian place in the Lower Haight that's super good. It's also a block away from the epicenter of Lower Haight (Memphis Minnies, Toronado, Molotov's, Uva Enoteca, Three Twins, etc.)
Suppenk?che/ Biergarten is great. Both located in Hayes Valley, Hayes/Laguna for the former, Octavia/Fell for the latter.
Foreign Cinema has the most bomb fried chicken and seafood. Plus there's always some movie being projected on the wall. 21st/ Mission.
Bender's bar on South Van Ness/ 19th is the shit.
Tartine is hands down the best bakery ever. Get there early and get a morning bun or an almond croissant before they run out. 18th/ Guerrero.
Bella on 3rd and Geary is tight.

El Rio is sick. Great patio, great venue, $1 beers on mondays. shuffle board table, pool.
They usually have some kind of pop-up food thing going on too.
