See this battle is why I wish Cory Kennedy was in this...I mean you gotta sit there and watch these guys go through ALL of the basics before something interesting happens. The thing I like about Cory is that he will just come out there with a cab flip. That's what makes these games fun to watch! And it wasn't until Paul started doing the bigspin heels that I got excited....oh well. And even though I thought PJ was gonna win the whole time, I secretly wanted Paul to win haha, so good job PRod

Super sick game but PJ seriously blew it.
Paul should have got a letter on that fs 360 ollie instead of a do over, I mean when you put your hands on the ground you deserve a letter.

Paul does get serious props for battling back like that, it sure looked like he was done but he fought and handled his business, congrats to him cuz beating PJ in a game of skate especially of that magnitude is not easy.

Having said all that I still think late flips of any kind are lame as fuck, I mean those are in the same neighborhood as pressure flips and underflips: there's a reason nobody does them anymore.
Although when you have a game like that one, you really do have to bust out some obscure shit because everything else has basically been done already.

I was there and watched that shit...

PJ still had all the big flips, hardflip revert, 540 flip, ect... to do that he can do every try.
It dumbfounded me that he tried a kickflip late shuv when he had a S and Paul had T.... weird.

I think late flips are pretty lame for the most part too, but to categorize them with pressure flips...

Not everyone can lateflip; 12 year olds can pressure flip.

why the hate on the late flips? the one paul did was clean as fuck. five years ago people were hating on impossibles, calling that a 90's trick and now everyone loves them again. late flips/ yo flips any day of the week.
