Those damn producers, camera ops, and Ernie know exactly what they're doing lol. Always Teeing up the chuck shade. The outfit roast and "who he play for" are the best bits. Probably why they have so many Emmy's..

I think the Sixers would've won playing Maxey instead of Simmons. Y'all will still be contending without Simmons, even if the return for trading him is not great

I posted this exact gif a year ago, and it's my pleasure to post it again

I can't believe another year has flown by already. RIP BOZO. Also my Maxey take from 2021 looks mad prescient now

Lovely. Has me in tears every time, and this time more than ever.

LeBron out, KD out, Steph didn't even make it in... if the Mavs send Harden, Kawhi and George fishing next game this is a pretty comprehensive changing of the guard all across the board. I like it.

Seriously doubt Bucks move on without their 2 main stars. Also doubt the Clippers will pull off 2 more wins. Kyrie and Jrue are really the only 30+ stars making much of an impact in the playoffs this year.

Yep, Bucks out and Kawhi, George, Harden and Westbrook also gone in one fell swoop. Out with the old, in with the new (Kyrie excepted, he’s been balling out!)

Word. Kyrie just turned 32 last month and he’s still fast as fuck. His handles are unmatched. I’ve never been a big fan, especially with all the conspiracy/flat Earth/antisemitism stuff, but his playoff performance is winning me over as fan of his game.

It doesn’t much matter. All the best players (Edwards, Luka, Tatum, Shai, Ja, Jokic) are maxed out until 2026-27. If Kawhi (big if) could stay healthy the Clippers have a better chance of making a run than the Lakers who are stuck with LeBron. The next 3 years are going to be the most competitive era since Kobe and Duncan were in the league.

Thanks, Premier League has rotted my brain when it comes to US athlete contract rights.

I hope you are right about the Wolves but maybe it's one year to early for them.  Looking forward to the game tonight, it is pretty much do or die for the Nuggets.

As a Sixers fan, I’ve got to say that while he may look really unhealthy, Tom Thibodeau is a genius coach. Every one of those Knick games has been a coaching master class.

The Villanova formula is genius too. There’s a lot to be said for rapport. That Villanova three has blown Phoenix’s big three out of the water. There are actually more examples of big threes failing than there are achieving the desired goal.

Welp Nuggets are in a tight spot, TWolves’ length is showing its a problem as they can’t seem to move the ball as well and get those open shots. If Ant keeps going off and they can’t figure it out even when Gobert is out it’s gonna be a short series.

But I’m hoping they can pull it of, make some adjustments for G3 and maybe get Braun involved more since Reggie’s hurt and KCP isn’t playing well. They’ve come back from 3-1 in the past a few times so I’m not gonna write them off but it’s an uphill battle from here.

Hard to remember the narrative swinging so quickly on an NBA team. Two days ago, the Nuggs were an unstoppable force held together with the ultimate team chemistry. Now Jamal Murray and Mike Malone are completely unraveling, Ant is the face of the league, and the T-woofs might never be a betting underdog again.

Life comes at you fast.

Those are certainly two lists of names.   Whether one side has anything to do with the other remains to be seen.   Tom Penny is Ray Allen, Oscar Robertson AND Kawhi?

I kinda love Alva as Wilt Chamberlain...that "wtf you lookin' at" energy...
Also consider Charles Barkley for Alva (two guys who always talk about how their era was the best)
For Gonz and Mullen we need that creativity...dudes who left the game different from how it was before.
Gonz=Magic? (GOAT of his era, arguably most creative ever)
And... should I say it? Mullen=Jordan. (The NBDs, the never-lose mentality, and the single minded dedication)
Bird has to be somebody who Just. Never. Misses. And clutch. And maybe also you either love him or love to hate him. Nyjah?
I like Yuto as Steph but he almost reminds me more of Klay Thompson. Makes it look so easy you forget how good he is.
Tyshawn has Kobe energy to me.
Kawhi=Wes Kremer for being famously off the grid?
Joker=BA because how did a dude that big just do that?
