c'mon roger, it was about damn time when yall started beuno!
-
What the fuck is the point of a petition?! People don't get hired for jobs or go professional because of petitions.
-
His style is better than most pros nowadays.
-
He has been an AM since that Adio video? ???

He's having a part in the new Nautica video? cant wait!

i mean, i'd buy a nate broussard roger deck 30 times. and the whole petition thing is to let roger know that there would be enough people interested in buying his board so they could actually go ahead and make it, son.
-
they promised to turn him pro if he comes out with more boner skate footage.
-
im down for it ive shunned roger ever since cesar fernandez got on the team

there are currently 21,103 registered members on slap, so for the sake of argument let's assume they are 21,103 individual people. there are approximately 12.5 million skateboarders worldwide (citation (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m4021/is_2002_Oct_1/ai_92087410/)), so if every one of slap's members voted on a petition they would speak for approximately 0.16% of the world's skate population (that's not 16%, 0.16 of 1%).
just something to keep in mind when you mistakenly think that what happens on this forum carries any weight whatsoever in the skateboarding industry.
-
i fuckin love this nigga, every part he has makes me happy to skateboard

yeah, like how slap basically didnt inspire the whole premise of the kalis later'ds or how qoutes from here dont end up in ads or how this place isnt infamous?
-
what does being infamous have to do with carrying weight though? maybe if 1/5th of the posters on here actually put their money where there mouths are this place would carry some weight

Slap carries plenty of weight. Arguing otherwise makes you look stupid.
-
I'd go as far as saying the vast majority of skateboarders in the US have never either never heard of slap or have no interest in checking this site out. it sounds stupid but its true. word of mouth still carrys more weight than the internet
-
We're not talking about the vast majority of skateboarders in the US. While unfortunate, we're talking about the 50-100 industry heads that decide who gets paid to ride one. And if you think those 50-100 people are wholly ignorant of Slap, you are extremely misininformed.
-
if you go to your local park, the real skaters know about SLAP, even ones that dont lurk or post
-
The slap board is the invisible hand of the skateboarding market. How else did Pete Eldridge get on Mystery? :-*
-
It'll be about 5 years overdue but he'll go pro soon.
Done the proper way though, he's always skated solid with decent style and that's it.
-
should have been after static 3

Would've been pro if he stayed with Skate Mental. But Nate is a classy guy, reunited with Stacey and still hanging in there. His time will come, and now thanks to HUF and Roger on the rise, more exposure and coverage AND shortly thereafter, boards with his name on it. HUF pro models too.

Signed. Nate rules

without a doubt, nate deserves to be pro the most out of any ams out there.
and that's factoring both style and raw talent. i'd buy his board for sure.

you should skate london as soon as you can man, such sick spots, usually grimey too (bricks with massive gaps inbetween em, puddles everywhere, crackheads lurkin) makes it more fun to skate than a perfectly smooth spot imo

-
triple og man am
-
super-senior AM, templeton should get him back and have a guess pro deck for broussard, i still got his toy machine poster sign by him
-
his static 3 part was great
i think itd be a good move for roger to turn him pro
considering how little coverage they get they can't really afford to sleep on someone that good
-

its crazy cuz ive always thought roger was bueno and roger was made up by broussard thinking that this was his company turning himself pro
-
I don't believe in that kind of petition, but I'd still be very happy the day that Broussard will be pro
-

Im sure roger know what they are doing , they have a small team of rippers and all of them have really good style , hope they grow in time and can have a big pro and am team

Southbank is way overhyped in my opinion, it can be fun to skate but it's always fucking packed and it gets pretty boring fast. When skating parks i usually hit up royal oak/ meanwhile bowls first because they are just a stop or two away from paddington and then move onto like mile end, which is amazing. Stockwell is mad too if you just like bombing about.

sounds like i should check out stockwell, yeah southbank is a lil overhyped but its only like an hour away from me and i fucking love banks of any kind (except money banks) when i go to skateparks its mostly banks and hips that i skate, then some manny pads and stuff but i like the "street tranny"
so im guessing youre a londoner?

he will probably turn pro after his part in the upcoming roger video.

Slap carries plenty of weight. Arguing otherwise makes you look stupid.
I don't think it's just a coincidence that shortly after the forum spoke up about Repgate and the power mad Deaner was stripped of his moderator status that the youth of the Middle East saw that they could make a difference, too, and now revolution is spreading like wildfire across the region. VIVA LA SLAP
