In his defense this year has been so nuts it’s hard to think of any recent winner besides Milton who’d have much of a chance this year. I guess TJ too but I don’t think that year is as crazy as his 2022 output

Well yeah Demolicion is more memorable and had one of the all time NBDs that literally can never be one-upped because the spot is gone. Mason is great but Milton set the hellride bar insanely high.

There was an article in Thrasher a few issues ago about the Monster trip. Apparently Nyjah just skated the entire trip non stop and didn't drink/ party so we should see some more hammers from him.

No doubt Mason was a worthy SOTY, but yeah, there was absolutely nothing stopping Milton Martinez from winning the title that year.
