My other tip is to not jump. I have a bad habit of not popping properly and jumping about three feet above my board as it ever so slowly flips. Just pop and you'll naturally jump high enough to let that bar of soap flip adequately.

hey oldies. finally finished my 50 tricks for 50 challenge!
Been a battle (ha!) but a fun one. My initial plan was to get 50 tricks on the mini, but it turned out there was just no way....relearning my mini ramp tricks is still a slooooow process. But I'm stoked I put in the effort. when I started riding that mini after close to 10 years without transition skating, I could not even commit to rock fakies. So I had to diversify with my mike V-looking ass old man tricks. 

anyways self filming helped me stay motivated, and I'm just stoked to still be rolling around in middle age.

also just stumbled upon this on youtube, he really puts my shit to shame....filmed all 50 tricks in one day! 
whereas I took literally months haha. Was he ever pro or something?? Had not heard of him before.

  Bladder is starting to give out, I notice that I need more than a few pinches now after peeing. My cholesterol is fine. My waist, at least as I type this is under 30, but probably not for long, but that still is a high flat ground Ollie imo so I doubt I could.

-> dangery_bois : that mini being built 2 years ago was a game changer indeed! it's pretty easy to skate whereas before that, near me there was only a super gnarly mini concrete bowl that kicked my ass so many times I totally gave up on doing tricks in it....

@Frank and Fred : rules? shit I don't know.... don't hire a stunt double maybe?   

@Willie easy! just do like me and count a rock to fakie or even a fs grab carve as "tricks" haha.....
