I guess yesterday was the 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death. Kind of a trip, because that makes me feel really old (I was in high school)... and I've been listening to Nirvana a little bit lately, specifically Bleach and In Utero.
What trips me out about listening to this album now is how raw, angry and loud it is for what was considered a mainstream rock album. I mean, compare it to Maroon 5 or Greta Van Fleet or whatever is considered major-label rock and roll these days. Steve Albini produced this one perfectly, so that helped.
