Like, I'm glad Josh is finally getting something back from skateboarding. That said, it's sad to see Theories and that whole aesthetic become a commodity. But to be honest, like wtf does Lakai have to do with Theories? Did Lakai ever flow shoes to anyone in Static 2? Nah.

Like, I'm glad Josh is finally getting something back from skateboarding. That said, it's sad to see Theories and that whole aesthetic become a commodity. But to be honest, like wtf does Lakai have to do with Theories? Did Lakai ever flow shoes to anyone in Static 2? Nah.

Yonnie and Vincent both had pretty good parts in the last static. I gotta assume it has something to do with that. I’m a fan of most Theories things but I think it’s a bad move with these Lakais. Didn’t they just do a State collab too?

Lakai shoes always feel like a shitty hybrid of Adidas and Nike knock offs.

I wonder if skater owned companies wouldn't be dying if they did things the way the bigger brands do in sticking with specific models and releasing skater-specific colorways or alternates? That way you don't end up with a ton of shoes that might completely flop and were designed by someone that might not even know shit about aesthetics or what sells to normal kiddos.

doesn't lakai kinda do exactly this? like that high top theres a blue one coming out that's got one of the AM's names on it (tranny kid i don't know his name), that nico hiraga kid gets colorways, and lest not forget...



...but you are right, as lakai has a catalog of probably 15-20 shoes that i can only see myself wanting maybe 3 of them.
