I think you almost need to separate his story into two parts, one the (mid?) 2000’s anonymous graffiti artist tagging shit, creating outrageous artwork in a completely unique style- the period when they’d put graphics over his face in blog posts, etc- and then the current version of Neck who’s leaned into the ‘brand’ he’d created and is now the public facing, shirts & Nike-dunk-creating character we know him as. May be the same dude the entire time, but seems like perhaps there was a conscious choice along the way.
