Anybody took a look at the new rolex/tudor releases today?
Now that the explorer 1 in 36 is back i‘d buy one for retail price, yet that seems impossible to get your hands on.
yes, Rolex came to their senses and brought back the classic size explorer. The two tone one I could take or leave but I doubt I’d ever buy a new Rolex anyway just because of their ridiculous store/ customer policies.
The Tudor releases didn’t do much for me, the panda chronos look nice but they should have put them in a 39mm case. Silver black bay is meh and the bb36 color just makes me happy I own a blue one!
That two tone one is terrible.
Over 10k retail for this ugly thing.
Not much improvement on the explorer II. lot of people where expecting a ceramic bezel or an even completely new explorer III, there where some great design mock ups floating around for a while.. that black dial version looks sick:
Now the watch still looks the same, and i think it looks outdated and it certainly isn‘t an iconic model the you wouldn‘t wanna change/update at some point.
I think frederico sums it up pretty, i totally agree with him on why that to tone explorer is a joke.
I like the new green/olive dial on the nautilus.
Yet i‘d probably never buy a patek, even if i had the money.
