Not sure if posted yet but these fancy lad Bigzo decks are 9.0” x 32.25” with 13.75” wheelbase. I’m obsessed.

You had me with the green eagle there.

But really, that is crazy they are 13.75 wb.  I was wondering how long the kicks were, but as per the listing, it is 9 x 32.25 with a 6.75 tail and a 7.5 nose.

The other big board on their site has 14.75 wb (which could easily be drilled down) but I was wondering if you had seen or tried that one at all?

I haven’t seen the milksnake one in the wild, but all the proportions are a little too big for me, unless I was making a cruiser. Curious though, would love to at least stand on one haha. I love the Bigzo though, these will be my 4th and 5th of those in a row.

Yeah seems like opposites in their two big shaped boards which could be a good thing.

I could say, not to stereotype, but the Bigzo is the street tech board and the Milksnake is the vert setup, if you were going by the size, length and wheelbase on average.

The Milksnake size would definitely be a cruiser for me too.

When I had a quick look there were definitely some that had a much shorter tail, or other weird dimensions as per the listings for them with the information on each listing, but I think most were just extras or leftovers, with that one looking perfectly good in terms of size, shape, etc.

As every true DIY’r knows- Why buy it when I can spend more money/time making it myself with a way shittier result? Actually it skates better than expected and was super fun at the wood park. Skatepaige blank, cut to 9ishx32ish and 14” wb, almost a twin tail

Its a clutch stock shape. I forget which one. Sub-14 wb was pretty standard back in the day (like late 80s early 90s) which is what a lot of these shapes are basically reproductions of. I'll see if I can find the clutch shaped board shape guide later on, some of them are pretty obvious.

That makes sense, coming into the big nose era and shortening down the wheelbase to accommodate it in about 1990 to 1991 before boards really got more rounded and smaller.

Thanks for the link too.

Was this one of their ‘boats’ shapes? I feel like I blew it on not get one. They don’t seem to be around. Shape looked real good. One of those times my distaste for NHS worked against me.

If I'm not mistaken it is the same shape as the creature stump 9" (which I love) shares the same specs anyway.

I think there will be more of those shorter boards coming out from NHS and others, as that is pretty much the way the market is going, so although the graphic might be different, the shape will be here to stay for now.

Thought I saw the standard Screaming Hand logo boards were that same dimensions and shape too, all sizes right up to 9+ and everything in between.

Had a gifted 9.0 I wanted to chop down. Was pretty massive with 15"WB/N:7.25"/T:7", with straight across measurement nose to tail at 33". Chems tooled rhe nose and tail, leaving 14.25"WB and more fingers of flat. Cut the nose and tail down and re-shaped. Nose is now a smidge over 7" and tail at a little under 7".  Now measures a little under 32.4" ish.

That thing looks good - I would be interested in seeing a side view with concave with deck bolts sitting in the new holes.

As it is BBS, it would feel a little more comfortable too than some other brands with a more defined point between the flat middle of the board and the sharp angle of the kicks.

Thanks!

That definitely looks very easy to skate.

Again great job on the cut down effort too.

The stained look of them is really nice.

Might be a bit too much info, but here are some recent posts and things about them.

They are the Mis Registered / Misregistered series.

I haven't seen many of the 8.75 boards besides shop pics, but a few people already have the 8.5 versions, with pics in the Setup thread and in the Recently Bought threads.

They were on the DLX Stock Report and then out in shops last week, so everyone should be getting them soon, if they don't have them already, the shops that is.
