Reply to this post of certain bands or songs that you listen to while skating. I listen to mostly metal. For example; Avenged Sevenfold, All That Remains, Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, Bullet for My Valentine, etc. If you chose other then list the other genre.

ill listen to anything with a good flow, from oasis to JME to lil wayne i really dont care (though im not too fond of lil wayne)

however i just wanted to post that recently i bought the best of jamiroquai album and its sooooo good to skate to, as soon as i put it on i couldnt help but push as fast as i can and carve around like a mad man just popping over puddles and shit and just flowing around the block. so much fun skating to something funky like that

Early Sabbath always gets me hyped. I'd say my top three bands to skate to are

Sabbath
Motorhead
Iron Maiden (strictly Paul Diano years)
Oh and by the way, Josh Farley, other than Iron Maiden, thats not metal. It's horse shit.

metal for sure. megadeth, lamb of god, mastodon and every time i die usually get me pumped. converge holds a strong spot too, but they get me hyped for just about anything

whenever i do that it causes me to fall lol. i usually set up speakers or something outside and make them really loud.

Crossover/thrash. Some power violence is pretty good too. Charles Bronson and Extortion is good stuff.

I wish I could skate with headphones, but I always just get too into the music. Ghetto-blasters are essential.

just whatever album i'm currently hyped on.

although, since moving to austin i've stopped listening to music while skating. the vibe at the parks here is way better and my shuffle broke. ear buds are mainly good when there's nothing but kids and kooks at the park and you don't feel like talking about your bearings.

Yeah, it definitely takes the social aspect of skating away. I like conversing with my friends in between trying a trick. If I had to though, I would primarily listen to metal. Pagan Altar, Witch, Witchfynde, and Maiden come to mind.

same. the other day i had that song that goes "have mercy mercy, have mercy on me, have mercy mercy, mercy on me." i don't even know who sings it (i think ohio express?) and just typing in got it stuck in my head again.
