I got hired today at a church (which is funny because I'm pretty loud about being an atheist) as a bookkeeper and went in to piss in the cup and all that good shit at the medical clinic as ordered by my new boss. I get to the doctors and after filling out all the forms he looks at my wrists, elbows, and palms to see bruises scrapes and cuts from falling at baldy yesterday and says i can't complete the physical since i have to preform a push and pull test of 35lbs... I now have to go to a county hospital and get cleared by a doctor who can state that i'm alright after i wait two weeks to return and finish the physical, i don't have insurance currently and after calling the hospital i found out it going to be 200 hots to get the clearance. i called my employer to tell them the situation and they said they could wait up to a week then they would continue to take applications for the position since the spot needs to be filled soon. fuck.

I havent been able to drive for a couple months, & getting to work was a bitch. now they havent called me or given me any hours since early last week, my "manager" wont return my calls or texts. I know im not fired because the last thing i heard from him was "You did an awesome job today, thankyou". (and that was last wednesday) I have Psoriasis on my elbows i found out a little while ago & its looking halfway decent today. Its flakey scabs that keep appearing no matter how much you pick them or dont, lotion them, or put whatever ointments they tell you to put on it. Now im about to get picked up & go to Hunnington. My left knee swelled up again which sucks. It's making it a little tough to get around but hopefully it will be better in a few days. I somehow fried my headphones today as well which really isn't that big of a deal except I didn't want to go and get new ones. Other than that...not much else is going on.

Went to the UC walkout today and found out some bullshit. I gotta pay $4000 in extra fees now because of state budget cuts, and will be getting less educational value for it. Why? Because of a bunch of rich assholes who live right around the UCLA campus (and all over the state) are "socially liberal, but fiscally conservative." Basically, they like the idea of helping people out, as long as they don't have to pay for it. So they vote to do all sorts of shit, then vote down rises in property and other assorted taxes which would pay for it. How fucking stupid and irresponsible can one population of people be?!? So now I have to pay more money, to get less education. Schwarzeneger said he wouldn't sign a budget with tax hikes in it, so education has been cut to the bone. If I ever see Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'll beat his ass!

but every time i try to get a decent cup of fruit, its always 60% cantaloupe.
fuck cantaloupe. the people who make fruit medley's must have a convention where they agree
to put absurd amounts of cantaloupe in the cups. for the record, fuck cantaloupe.

so it was the yearly pro-life display at my campus today. they always throw up these "gross" posters of aborted fetuses and stuff to make you hop on their side of the fence. come on now, that makes people sway their way? hell, new born babies look disgusting too. they are just using some fast food marketing tactics, but in reverse. you order a big mac or whatever cause they have an ad where a burger artist has symmetrically placed a piece of lettuce over top a perfectly squared patty. once you order this edible piece of art they hand it over to you, you look at it and notice in reality it looks like an aborted fetus. i guess im derailing my train of thought, but im thinking that maybe in real life aborted fetuses don't look that bad. maybe they're cute enough for japanese women to have a back pack or pencil case with an aborted fetus graphic on it

Why do software vendors ALWAY try to blame their issues on the network the software is running on? I'm in the middle of a nerd battle and this fuckhead can't accept that his server is not configured correctly. He's insisting that there is something on my network blocking odbc connections from his app on the client to his SQL server on my network(both exist on the same network)... yet he can't explain why the 4 other SQL databases are not having any trouble connecting with their specific clients. This is the second time this week he's pulled this shit on me. I already ass raped him on the first issue, now I have to waste time proving him wrong again. He gets no lube this time... that's it. I can't wait to get the "support evaluation" email when this ticket gets closed. fuck him. /rant
