as I recall there are several rumors, all of which vary in their plausibility:

- he's injured (sometimes it is supposed to be the leg, others say its his arm) and taking a pause from skateboarding/ social media (most plausible)
- he's incarcerated for possessing and/or selling weed (least plausible; laws in germany and foremost in berlin aber rather liberal on weed)

IMO it’s just a fakie varial flip - but he gave all his flip tricks some wired twist - which make them little more funky.

Majority of people do the varial flip fully with the front foot flick.
If you focus more on the back foot like a fakie pop shot and flick very slighly with the front food - movement becomes different - in this GIF he didnt move his body like typically with a fakie trick, more like standing switch and jumps much higher then he pop the board. So it looks  very different  - but is just a basic fakie varial flip.

This is what I like with Hyuen he gave all his tricks some different twist.
Sometimes little bit over the top / awkward but sometimes really funky - but different is good anyway.
Have seen him doing some crazy halfcabs in flat for example like going fakie but not moving with the half cab direction more going backward - but jumping forward doing a backside ollie flip.  Just small changes in the movement changing the basic trick completely.

I think you couldn’t be more wrong, pros are impressed by his « insta reels », that could also be called « dope and rare tricks on huge gaps and stairs, full speed », and most important: nobody gives a single f*ck about missing a trick on flatground at that level of skills.
