« on: May 11, 2009, 04:55:54 PM »
So I'm riding these

right now, and I already have a flatspot after 2 weeks.
aren't these supposed to be no flatspot guarenteed or some shit?
anyways, I keep on giving spits another chance but I keep on getting flatspots.
IT PISSES ME OFF.
but because I love them I will stay loyal.
Also, malibu rum tastes way worse than it looks.

The only color wheel I skate is white. SF turns yellow too quickly for my taste.
Out of curiosity does any wheel company make a skinny light blue or light green wheel?

Bones STF's and SPF's.
Never looked back after that discovery
I get to see Devil semi regularly and his little dude is rad as hell. My wife and I aren't into having little ones, but that'll give me more time to be a god uncle and teach Devil's spawn to slang weed.

OK first of all there is no wheel that you can't flat spot. period. end of story. That being said yes some wheels are better than others and I have ridden ever wheels in this thread other than the F-1's and flatted all of them. Guile good looks on the plug and yeah the Sml. wheels are really good but people have flat spotted them but I have yet to althoughI have only skated 1 set and they are a month old at this point.

The park burners are pretty good. I had a set of those that lasted a while, but eventually the flatted.

yeah man, the wheels are really good but i flatspotted em after a long night of learning slappy bluntslides.

oh and i'm riding some HiFis right now that feel pretty sick so far, i'm just tired of flatspotting every wheel within the first week of setting up a new set and i'm reluctant to ride Stfs because they look weird and chalky and the shapes of the wheels don't look right to me.

i've had blank generic wheels for about 2 months now, my local park has a plastic bench that i do blunts and lips on, and they have yet to flatspot. ricta's suck in my opinion, autobahn are good, but bones stf have been my best wheels to date

no flat spots!
worst wheels ever.
it's true, no wheel is flatspot free guaranteed. the bones stf wheels are among the worst wheels i've ever ridden. way too grippy, always flatspot within a week and a half and are prone to harsh coning. the best, imo are spitfire classics or pig speedlines. i really liked my f1 streetburners, didn't have a problem with them.

Spitfires are not the best wheels but i always ride them because in my opinion they have done a lot for skateboarding..(channel st, washington st, romano, etc..)  Call that a PR stunt but ill always back spits.  their classic shape is perfect and they just feel great all around..

wheels are wheels..

there is no guarantee against no flatspots, coning, yellowing, etc..

it's like trying to claim a car that won't total after a major accident.

no matter what, if there is any error, amount of impact or however you want to compare it, shits gonna break/flatspot.

i guarantee you that.

your best bet is skate Bones, they flatspot less likely & will last longer than your average wheel.

although, i always support Spitfire, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
would you rather hear "woo" from the omar salazar pack? i wouldn't. their "yeahs" are genuine, and cool. "yeah" has been the battle cry of skaters for as long as i can remember.

Spitfires are really bad wheels, its no secrete.  It just shows marketing is everything.

And whoever said bones STF is right, amazing wheels.

Park burners are purdy awesome. Had them for over a month and they haven't flat spotted, and have barely started to cone from powerslides.

KFC should give cockatiels with their variety bucket, so you can eat one bird and love another.

The updated f1's treated me well.
Supposedly this is a new formula.
They were fast and didn't flatspot.
Sad to say i went back to my bones stf's with scratched off graphics.

I gave up on Spitfire a few years ago.  Too many sets that flatspotted first day or week from tailslides on tranny, powerslides, etc.  Have been on Bones STFs forever now and only flatspotted once.  I also like bluntslides alot and it killed the Spitfires but the Bones have been fine.

bones stf are so good about not flatspotting but they are just too hard for my tastes. no grip whatsoever.
