i thought he did it for real with the full 360 one at the same spot but after re-watching it, stepped on the grate for that one too. whatever it still looked cool but it just wasn't all that it could be.

I knew that I was slipping having never seen the first, but damn, I'm gonna watch it later tonight. With the hijinks, movie clips and skating was really fun to watch. That last McCrank trick was unreal. Jerry and Spanky footage was so good. Really dug Jerry's footy at LA High. Was Louie Lopez in there at all because some of the lines that I thought were Sean Pablo, looked more like LL? Regardless, I thought Seans footy was pretty solid.
Being a lil stony and making it the whole hour, its hard to remember all of it, but definitely worth multiple watches.
PS to those commenting on Dylan sighting, if you make it to the last thirty seconds of the video they have a clip of him pushing and doing a tre flip. Just figured I'd mention that considering the background clip has been mentioned a couple times.

McCrank's tricks were mental. He's kind of dogged us all by not filming more seriously over the years. Still just as good as ever.

Alex is sick. I did production assistant work in LA for a bit, and he was the art director for a commercial I was on once. I was too nervous to fan out on him while working but emailed him a few days later and told him I was a big fan and I'd love to work with him again.

The groupings seemed a bit more random than last time. In the first Boys of Summer it really seemed they put cliques together, such as Baker Boys, Rick/Mike/Scott Johnston, Koston/Cory/BA/Scuba, Dill/Ave/Gino, etc. This one didn't seem as cohesive. Not that it was a bad thing. It was a bit surprising for example to see McCrank with Cyrus and AO, although, I get why it was edited that way (a decent amount of Van footage in AO's part) or how Carroll footage was with Reynolds and the Jeffersons. They also put people's footage throughout the video this time, instead of in one of the edits.

I'd get that if it wasn't treated as a homie video. I mean, I'm not a huge fan of Aidan's skating, but I also just primarily watched a part of the Jefferson's skating at about 2 miles an hour with Mike Carroll and Reynolds footage put in.

- I like the way Andrew Allen falls
- Seeing glimpses of Dylan. makes me smile. I hope we never run out of clips.
- Soundtrack is great.
- Can someone make me a list of obligatory 80's movies to watch. Despite being 30, I feel like I've seen 5% of the movies someone my age has seen.
- Maybe I only like fuck around Swan footage. His parts never do it for me, but that wasn't bad.
- More Jerry footage.
- Gino's one clip was perfect.
- Alex Olson is so good. Seeing him and McCrank share a part would be cool. I feel as though they have some similarities in tricks and spots.

Overall loved I loved it. It was exciting to see who was gonna be in what section and some guys was in a few different sections.
Yesterday when I was watching it I was so stoked and I told my roommate who doesn’t skate I need to use the tv to watch it etc and he’s stoked cause of how excited I was. He comes back and the way too long Jefferson’s part was playing and I felt embarrassed because it was so cringe. I get he’s the homie but damn that was almost unbearable to watch

One of my most hated editing practices that people do now. I want everyone's footage to be in one spot to feast on. I fucking hate it.
But I still loved the video. Rowan is amazing. And it's unbelievable the types of tricks the Jeffersons can do but can't seem to go faster than a snail's pace or tic tac out of everything.

Looking forward to a re-edit, or IG clips, lots of dope skating, although I did skim through a lot of it...Their sarcasm with the movie clips and mainstream soundtrack was just a flop for me.
I thought it was funny how much footy was at the art school on Cesar Chavez. They filmed it pretty good. I want to watch it again, and I probably will, but so much of it I thought was super dumb. I guess you're supposed to laugh at how dumb it is. Montage aspect was also a major buzz kill. Overall too much emphasis on editing which I think anybody could duplicate. Skating was sick tho.

Yeah, I feel this was mentioned on his Epicly Later'd. Talked about the questionnaire they sent him. Nike may be different in how its run now with Scuba the main TM.
I just want the guy to get a solid paycheck, although, it seems Sci-Fi fantasy is doing well. Many other "legacy" skaters are getting solid checks, who have less of a legacy than Jerry in my opinion and don't produce much.

One of my most hated editing practices that people do now. I want everyone's footage to be in one spot to feast on. I fucking hate it.
But I still loved the video. Rowan is amazing. And it's unbelievable the types of tricks the Jeffersons can do but can't seem to go faster than a snail's pace or tic tac out of everything.
It drives me a bit crazy too. Although, it can work really well when done properly like in Roll Up. Although, I with more videos atleast showed the guys names when skating. I have a nightmare telling who is who sometimes.

I noticed that too. I was watching footage once of myself and noticed I kept wiping my face with my shirt or arm after every try. some of it was genuinely from being sweaty during the summer but it’s mostly a nervous tic or from feeling embarrassed and I told myself to stop doing that.

I only ordered the board because the single hard copies were sold out by then, and it was the only way to get one included was to buy a board. Also haven't had a 917 since one of the first few runs.
