Crazy to see all the people in the comments essentially blaming him for them getting a tattoo of the deathwish logo lol

Is Sex Skateboards still a thing? He was really pushing it a while ago.

Lizard King as a team sounds interesting. Just him yelling, “mucho passion baby” or any of his other sayings.

Also, Lizard King on that Hoffler I-tattooed-a-brand-logo-on-me team
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

This

Looks like he had a lot of passion for the brand but at the end of the day he had to put it in the air and let it loose

And this top comment

Had me losing my shit, hahaha. That owns.

Yeah like it's been said many times, Deathwish is gonna have to come up with a new name soon. Healthwish would be fitting. 2008 was a wild time. Out with the hijinx in with the keto bowls!

And that's the last we heard of Mike Plumb.

I'll be the fly in the ointment here and say I always liked his skating and am bummed he won't be in the new video, and is probably wrapping up his professional skateboarding career. He has a lot to be proud of. From killing it in the Wallenberg contest (backside 180 one foot down the four) to the frontside noseslide Transworld cover at Hollywood 16 to basically inventing the concept of intentionally landing disaster on a stair or curb after a gap or set.

I hope he has the dignity to step aside doesn't linger with a vanity brand called "Passion" or some shit.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.

how could they possibly keep Neen around, but give Lizard the boot.... Neen just shows up to skate spots and cooks shitty looking meals in a camping skillet
[close]
It has to be that he's an "influencer" right? Why else would they?

This keeps coming up.  Do people not understand riders are under contract and either one or both parties decided to not renew this contract?   He didn’t get fired and Neen doesn’t need to worry until his contract ends.

Damn if they just dropped neen the video would be pretty great. That Valdez kid is off too right? they haven't posted anything of him in years.

Already stoked for the deathwish video but this made it better fingers crossed neen gets the boot too. He brings a salmon cooking hiit training video part.

What's exactly wrong with LK's parts? By no means would any of his parts be in my top 10, but I certainly wouldn't consider his skating boring.

probably just knew it was his time to move on. he was on a snowboard podcast pretty recently and it seems like he's doing ok and enjoying life. pretty entertaining episode if anyone's interested.

Honestly I don’t have anything against LK. Nothing against his past parts. I like dad LK more than hail satan LK. But he doesn’t produce hasn’t stated relevant. As shit as that sounds it’s true. Idk any current clips I’ve seen aside from a Supra edit in Mexico maybe. Like I just think if he was in it it wouldn’t be something that’s not a disappointing and be the weak spot in video. I mean I don’t think LK has been stacking like Cyril when he got the boot. And if LK has and a part drops I’ll eat my words. I think he’s been on dad duty and his focus shifted to that instead of skating which is great. Do that. I hope he gets a TM job or something cause he is weirdly likable and unique.

I’m happy for the guy, he was one of my favorites when in my late teens/early 20’s but unfortunately was responsible for me thinking riding with 4 different colored wheels was cool.

Here’s hoping he gets a good job as a tm and doesn’t start another board company though.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

I watched this a few weeks ago. He actually seems like a pretty decent dude. Would not have guessed he comes from a privileged background (Dad is a real estate boss). I enjoyed the story about how he one-upped the local snowboard pro by casually doing some gnarly ‘jump’? I don’t know snowboard terminology

end of an era for sure.
always liked the guy for some reason. he had a moment.
i was scared of Deathwish when i was a little kid because the "meth & four loko" crowd and the scary emo teens with ear gauges were very big into em.

Not exactly my cup of tea but I saw him skate a supra demo a year or two ago and his skating is sick to see in person. Very snappy kickflips and really good at long grinds and slides. Came away with a better impression than I had beforehand so he can't be all bad.

In saying that, definitely dont get any TM vibes

It’s funny people bitch about Jamie Thomas “stealing” Mystery from Detroit Rock City, but no one says shit about Death Wish and its logo being lifted from the Charles Bronson movie.
