I don't know if anyone has posted this topic already, and if so I can't find it anywhere, but I was searching through Netflix looking for something to watch and I came across this movie called All This Mayhem about Ben and Tas Pappas. I havn't watched it yet but I thought it looked pretty cool. Has anyone watched it?

yep, key things i remember:

- lots of cocaine
- lots of insane skateboarding
- ben pappas killing himself after killing his girlfriend (was never proven he did it but all facts put him as the one responsible, right? or is my memory off?)
- tas being told he had to sit out during that x-games best trick and tony hawk landing the 900 even though tas had been coming super close prior to the event (i really wish tas had just barged the ramp and started going for it as well)
- one of the brothers tried to smuggle drugs into australia and got locked up, i can't remember which one
- rehab
- incredible skateboarders whom just got caught up in the craze of absolute freedom and lots of money

Throwing Tony Hawk under the bus was the highlight of the vid, even though I think there is a tinge of bullshit with that story. It doesn't matter though, you will say " Ya Old Wanker" constantly for at least 3 weeks.

Tried watching it, kinda skipped around honestly.

I just watched it. That was a good movie! I had no idea how fucked there lives were. I only knew ben pappas from the globe video

I think there were rumours recently that Tas is back on booze and drugs again. Any truth to this?

I'm glad Tony Hawk landed the 900 and not Tas Pappas. Tony Hawk has always been a good ambassador for skateboarding and the things he brought to skating were great.
Can you imagine what the following would be like if you replaced Tony for Tas:
