Anyone else catch the grey center University of Chicago video conference with Her and Gonz? It thought it was pretty interesting even tough the conversations seemed to ramble a bit.
yeah, it was good. kyle beachy did a good job keeping the conversation moving, too. i thought it got a little awkward at the end there when he asked how can we do more in terms of being inclusive, and alexis said more representation then gonz was sorta like "well there's always been women in skating!" you can see the frustration in her face kinda, i don't think gonz really understood what she meant?? or he couldn't express what he was really trying to say? it was funny when he asked her if she ever focuses her artwork and that he can find the humor in being a 53 year old riding a board and cursing out loud in the streets.
