It really bugs me when people are skating any kind of tranny and they kind of push into or scrape into a backside tailslide instead of popping a proper quick ollie.

Scraping is acceptable if you're over 30. There should at least be some kind of tail/pre-coping contact though.

I experienced both of these firsthand.
I don't really care either way, back tail slides on tranny are not easy no matter how you get into em', not for me anyway.

I thought for the most part that was the case, but for tailslides it was like an either/or type of thing, and for disasters, noseblunts and rock to fakies that the bigger you ollied in, the better.

If you do it little its a stupid trick. If its an ollie popped up 4 feet above coping where you smack your board coming into fakie its cool. But come to think of it, still not that cool.

yeah, i'm not talking about ollie to tail, i'm talking about good ol' tailslides. busenitz, carroll, cardiel, tnt and stranger all have good examples of a proper backtail where you pop your shit. ive just seen a some guys go real fast and just kind of push into it and its gross compared to the real deal...
