I'd start Brodeur if I was Canada.

Every time I watch Luongo, he looks inconsistent. I might just be catching dude at bad times or something.

he hasnt been lights out this year, it would be amazing to have him start, home crowd, everyone going nuts, but I have nothing against Brodeur starting and if he plays how he has for the majority of his career I'll welcome it

I utterly hate seeing the penguins win and I can't stand seeing Crosby's face anymore but god damn, gettin a hat trick on free hat day made for one hell of a highlight.

didn't get to see it, was listening in the car but that game sounded like a shit show. going to the game tonight at the garden actually, hopefully we can redeem ourselves.

also psyched for olympic hockey. definitely plan on being in bars watching most of the games

balls. i give up. hah so frustrating. but, thats what you get when you like the rangers. i also sat behind two pens fans and two douchebags wearing devils jerseys. never in my life have i seen two people go out of their way to route against a rival team. tickets at the garden arent cheap either

Hawks v. Blue Jackets tonight. Conflict of interest. I really like some of the players on clb but I'm certainly not backing them tonight. They just won their first game coming off of a 5-game loss streak and the hawks just lost two in a row so I'm sure this game will be worth the watch.

God damn, I'm officially switching over to being on Crosby's dick. He's gonna be killing it for a long time and there's just no way to be happy if you want him to lose. 8 points in his last TWO games. WTF.
That's pretty cool that those people had the option to do that. Strange thing do to but just the fact that they could is impressive. Just how close are the other arenas to the Garden anyway?

I guess my friend lined up some New Year's Eve tickets for the Flames v. Oilers game, so stoked. We got the shitty nosebleed seats so for once I'm going to get to sit in the rowdiest part of the Saddledome, looking forward to the beak-fest.

yea as much as i was heckling the devil fans it gotta say i have to give them props on some level. pittsburgh is a good 6 hour drive from nyc and the prudential center where the devils play is right over the river, a short train ride away. but still, going into another teams stadium wearing a rivals jersey when the team isnt even playing, youre gonna get heckled hah. especially when your last name is "dickman" and its on the back of your jersey. still questioning myself but i got some little kids to start a "dickman sucks" chant with us. not sure how stoked their parents were

mooley that sounds so fun. should be a good time for sure

Fuck, that's so rad. Hopefully Grapes was right in saying that we're on the map for another franchise. If the piece-of-ass bombers can sell out 20 some thousand seats I just don't see how there wouldn't be enough support for an nhl team. It's just not fair.

8 points, the 5 point game Valiquetee was in net and played awful the other can mostly be blamed on the rangers rookie defense and all around bad play

sickk, havent played pond hockey in like 3 years or so. and before that the last time i played was when i was a freshman in high school. definitely looking to play a game or two with my pops and family and stuff

by the way, i won the stanley cup in nhl 96 the other night. came back from 3 games to 1 to beat the chicago blackhawks. won in OT in game 6 to force a game 7. won game 7 one to nothing. it was a battle of epic proportions.

We got Detroit in 2 days.

They're all banged up, and we're at home. We better not lose that game  >:(

Flames have a bit of a wild one going with Nashville right now, I hope they pull it out. Could be two very big wins in a row.

How did we blow it, when we weren't expected to make it past the Canucks?

To play Detroit in the WCF was a plus.

The goal was to make the playoffs and they exceeded that expectation.

Shit, I feel kinda bad bumping this thread since there's only like 3 of us posting in here but I don't know where else to put this.
Around christmas, I found out that my dad's cousin is the vp of hockey operations (#2 to Mike Gillis) for the canucks so for my birthday in january, he's puttin me on for the hawks game on the 23rd. I think a couple buddies and I are getting some kinda tour of GM place then box seats for the game. Not to mention a few days in Vancouver to (hopefully) skate outside.

Hey frisco, watch for the vintage blackhawks sweater. I'll be waving.

take me to the game

its funny a few days ago i was walking my dog, and mike gillis is getting out of his car, turns out he lives 5 houses down from me it was the weirdest thing, i introduced myself shook his hand and wanted to talk for a while but he was looking flustered, sweaty and tired like he does in every interview

hes taking us in the right direction though, couldnt be more happy with the sedin signing, now we need to lock up kesler long term and say goodbye to demitras contract
