i thought koston was fully on supreme? was hoping for a full part, also hoping pops has at least a handful of new things in there
[close]

Koston is filming for the next Nike Chronicles video project. He'll have a full part in that. Should be out at the end of this year.

Don't get your hopes up on the end of the year, Malto in his CBI interview made it sound like a two year endeavor. Should be amazing when it comes out though.

Should have just called it the Supreme LA video..  Then just leave the Supreme NY squad to Salganik or Bressler.

for a bunch of dudes who constantly go on tirades about how skating is the most important thing, you guys seem to talk a lot about how some kid younger than you dresses, while completely ignoring the skating. fuck you guys
[close]
I'm speaking strictly for myself, but I don't think the complaint is targeted just at "fashion". I haven't seen these kids do anything on a skateboard that's innovative or impressing. when skaters rely on how their clothes look versus having actual style or ability that's when I think this whole Supreme shit is dumb. btw I'm talking about the younger kids. hopefully I'll be proved wrong once I see the video

style is obviously subjective, so idk how good of an argument this is, but i think mr pablo and aiden and sage elsesser have really great styles, especially for being so young and not fully grown yet. and if you've seen \m/ or a bunch of other homie video, you can see that aidan and sage fucking rip.

fuck outta here yo with that lowkey shit, I've always backed Sean's skating, it looks a lot better in person too. I just think going from dressing like Dill to Sid Vicious in a span of months is kinda funny and random. I still back it though, it's cooler than five panels and diamond x nike sb chinos or whatever the fuck

it's odd if you don't realize he's still a young dude. people who constantly put him on blast on slap seem to forget he's probably a lot younger than them. every kid changes how he dresses a million times in his teens

It's not always "what" that matters.
For some of us it's "who, how and where".
Style is all inclusive, debate what that means all you like.
Either you get it or you don't.
Perspective is everything.

There's something on Lurker Lou's instagram about Dylan skating to an INXS song that he used in a video previously

Just got back from the premiere

Tyshawn and dylan reider are probably MVPs of the video

Tyshawn rattled off like ten tricks down the courthouse drop/bank including varial heel and nollie inward heel, to chief keef. He also had the 2 enders of the vid, I think a bigflip boardslide and a long 5050 down a rail up against a wall

Dylan did a ton of manuals over picnic tables, probably a lot of nbds, dill and a couple other people had tricks on that tall pad he did his mind field ender on. Olson had a lot of footage but we'd seen pictures of most of it

Gonz didn't land anything, I don't think but his contributions were amusing

Dill had a lot of footage. No parts but it didn't bother me too much. The skaters still had sections where a lot of their tricks were grouped together. Mostly black and white which I also don't usually like but it worked. Some color

It was dope. I'm sure a lot of you guys will hate. I liked the soundtrack. The INXS was sick. Popps had more coverage than I expected. Tyshawn is amazing. Paulo's wood flute and nollies are back.

Was Popps' stuff the usual ollie and 50-50 stuff, or did he branch out a bit?

I love how the go-to rebuttal to people hating on Supreme and its cool guy image is nothing more than some cool guy shit.
