With a kid there’s steady apple juice in the house. I just drink it when I’m hung over though. Cider is a holiday thing, that’s really the only time we have it.
There’s a town called Dixon, out in the Central Valley, that is surrounded by apple orchards.
They have a communally owned apple juice cooperative & they press up & sell their own apple ciders (regular, spiced, and fermented.)
I think it’s super good, and so does my wife. She especially likes it served hot.
If you’re ever in Dixon, treat yourself to some.
