Apple juice vs. Apple Cider

I'm diabetic and apple juice is my go to if my blood sugar is low, but apple cider is the hero we deserve.

Can be enjoyed hot or cold. Maybe throw some cinnamon if you’re feelin fancy. And I like the tartness of it.

There’s a town called Dixon, out in the Central Valley, that is surrounded by apple orchards.
They have a communally owned apple juice cooperative & they press up & sell their own apple ciders (regular, spiced, and fermented.)
I think it’s super good, and so does my wife. She especially likes it served hot.
If you’re ever in Dixon, treat yourself to some.

Interesting. I’ve never stopped in Dixon, and I drive to Sacramento a lot for work. When I was a little kid we lived in Santa Rosa and I remember going to a barn looking store with a walk in freezer and getting apple juice. Like this is 35 years ago and I can still feel the cold and smell everything. I hope it’s similar.

Off the Mercury’s though, ten pack for $25 and they’re 6.9% so usually vomit at some point in the second ten pack so stopped getting them

grew up in the middle of nowhere on 100+ acres Maine and my parents had apple orchards so every fall we picked, pressed and canned endless amounts of apple cider. It's one of my favorite things and the nostalgia of it stokes me out. Throw a bit of cinnamon whiskey in there if you're feeling it in the winter.
