The force 58’s felt very cheap, in hand. Didn’t try them on. I like the general look/shape, and in a solid color I would wear them, but again just felt budget.

The black/white ones would be a quick marker fix. I'm my local gets that colourway I'll get a pair. But a red Nike logo or whatever would absolutely wreck my head.

I’m skating the force 58s rn and they’re definitely not built budget. Budget SBs have very thin suede that blow out, the force 58s have very thick suede. It feels like any other SB. The box is not glossy though (which is usually a sign for a “budget Sb”)

Liking the ishod a lot more. Still not the greatest looking shoe imo, but the on foot shots are looking better and future colorways should be good too. They look like they’ll skate great which I guess is the most important. I like that the front laces have the lace guard I didn’t know that part wasn’t attached.

Speaking of value dunks, anyone ever skate the Adversary? Look kinda like the gts shape with a thicker sole and the dunk paneling. I liked the gts honestly. They didn't fall apart too easily at all, though I had to put the shoe goo to em eventually. But liked the flick and grip (had a couple pairs of the black/white gum rubber ones).

Nike's thinner cupsoles are great to skate. Super grippy and flexible. I'm confident that the Ishods will perform excellent.

I agree re: Nike’s thin cupsoles. I haven’t tried the Force 58s or the Adversary but the Team Classic and GTS Return, while not seeming very substantial in hand, ended up skating great and being significantly more supportive and durable than lots of other beefier cupsoles I’ve worn.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned sizing, I’m usually a pretty standard US 9.5 (sometimes a 9.25 ha), but these in 9.5 felt really tight on me. The 10 felt like they’d pack out too much so I ended up not picking up a pair. I’m on pair 4 of the Bruin React which can feel tighter right away but don’t take long to feel good on foot. Curious if these would pack out nicely, but they felt too uncomfortable to put in that work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I guess I want to get the shoe simply because it's Ishod's
