Because I'm bored and curious...
Got up, made a coffee. Went on the interwebz for a couple of hours. Played some MW2. Made lunch and watched Strange World with the homies. Skated the local for several hours. Had dinner with the relo's and now I'm back here. Twas a good day.

Woke up at a friend's house in Guangzhou and took his dog for a walk. Then we went to this crazy market where you can buy real designer gear, straight out of the Chinese factories, for 5% of what you'd expect to pay. Right next to us, some violent purse snatching attempt got bloody, so we left and hired a random van to take us to the bus station. We waited in a sleazy hotel bar that looked like it turned into a brothel at night. Then I enjoyed a fun-filled four-hour bus journey through through some of the nastiest pollution I've ever seen home to Hong Kong.

skated an indoor park. wasnt too packed, guy gave me 13 dollars change on me paying 20 for a 13 dollar session and helmet charge cuz he was fried, skated with some friends. was a good time. then went home to the worst headache ive ever had. didnt get to sleep until around 2, bastard woke me up around 5, still awake...

Its snowed and i really don't have any other hobbies, ive been on the internet for the last few day sin a row doing nothing hoping some site will have something new up, and looking at clothes i cant buy. It sucks......... and there is no indoor in my city. There is pretty much nothing to do with skateboarding in my city once the snow falls except this church that opens up its gymnasium for Tues and Thursdays, but that does not help at all on the weekends.

Yesterday I had coffee, went and skated the local park for a couple hours, had some dude look at a car I'm selling, visited family for dinner, met up with friends at night and ended up playing Mario Kart for N64, had a late night text exchange with a girl about um... feelings.

woke up at 5:45 to go skate venice to find there were already about twenty heads there, left to channel st about an hour after. 2.99 carnitas burritos at the local super mercado and came home to some beers and homies watching bill cosby vhs tapes. good times.
today:
Laundry and finding a fridge on craigslist for my place, purchasing meals everyday is killing my wallet.

Woke up at like noon, started studying for a chem final I have tomorrow, got hungry, ate some subway, watched the Ricky Oyola question thing, and am now on youtube listening to music. The days not over but I probably won't go very far, I might crack open the books later :(

Woke up pretty early, worked a little on this paper I have due tomorrow, then went back to sleep for a bit, then woke back up, and here I am now. I'm most likely gonna spend the rest of the day working on this paper, maybe squeeze in a quick break/half hour skate sesh or two in between.

Spent all yesterday and today taking a CPR/First Aid course. Had to wake up super early so my weekend was pretty much shot. The classes were boring as fuck and there was only one kinda cute girl to pretend to do CPR on. But I'm officially certified now, and my work paid for the course...so all in all...not too bad. If anyone eats some really heinous shit out there skating, I can take care of you till the ambulance arrives.

i left the house around midnight and went to a party. came home a few hours later. got called into work 5 hours early because some asshole didn't feel like showing up. my boss handed me $20 to get something to eat for actually coming in early when i didn't have to, and didn't complain about. just ate a chicken parm sub and watched an episode of doctor who

Watched the Chiefs get killed by the Broncos (we're fuckin' up bad lately), my girl picked me up and we went to Walmart for about an hour, she dropped me off, got my shit together and drove back to my dorm at KU (I was at home for this weekend), watched Strange World, and hit the damn books. Wrote a few paragraphs for a paper due on Tuesday, and am in the middle of an Italian composition right now.

Woke up around 7am. Wife made me blueberry pancakes from scratch. Watched Strange World and got amped. Skated at the local park by myself at 9:30-11:30. Went to Walmart and bought an ice scraper, anti-fog stuff for windows, fuel treatment to keep lines from icing up, and the Sunday paper. Got home, ate some chicken noodle soup. Went to shoot a retirement ceremony from 12:30 until 3pm. Took the family driving around looking to find some asian food place that my tomtom couldn't find. Ended up eating at A&W and got a free burger on top of the fish and chips with a rootbeer float. Just finished playing some Left4Dead single player since none of my friends are on. Going upstairs to find something to watch for a while until I have to turn in for the night.

Saturday I flew to Newark, from there I started my drive back down to Florida. So I spent all day in the car today. I was getting stressed out. The mix of terrible fast food, being stuck on the highway with terrible drivers and just being in a car so long was starting to get to me. I'm pooped and happy to be home.

no joke dude. the library is chill any other time besides finals week...once the study crunch start the birds flock in droves, and the library visit becomes strictly counterproductive.

last weekend i met a fat girl off the internet who bought me dinner and sucked my dick, then i titty fucked her the next night cause she was on her rag so i never had to touch her pussy.i "borrowed" her copy of sean of the dead. but i dont want to ever see her again so i guess im stuck with it. then this weekend i went out and i actually met a girl who is attractive and cool at the only bar that i actually like which is weird because i am anti social as fuck and never talk to anyone new. i dont even really know how it happened, it has happened to me before but usually ends up i never see the girl again but this time she is actually texting me and we are meeting for coffee. i dont know how any girl could actually like me but i guess she doesnt know me too well yet and hasnt seen me outside of the dark bar haha.

came home at one am after spending a portion of yesterday at the house of a girl i went out with last week. She's a really sweet girl, kinda strange, collects swords and knives, but has a larger book and music collection than i do, which is kind of huge... so that's was kind of cool. She doesn't seem very sexually experienced even though she's got a few years on me, this i could tell during the make out/petting session. Where i'll go with this, i do not know. She's got a house, multiple bachelors degrees, is going to nursing school, and seems ok, albeit kind of strange... no kids though...
After that, i went home, settled to bed, and remembered that i had a 10am appointment with a transfer counselor at my former community college. so i woke up at 925am, maniacally drove down snowy backroads and onto the freeway, ran across campus upon parking in the farthest extension lot, and somehow made the appointment with 1 minute to spare. The lady with whom i spoke was helpful. I was guided in the necessary direction to take the MTEL and continue some classes at another school in the Fall semester.
AFter that i went to work to scope out health insurance, shit went up 40 beans/month, they want $210 for single payer coverage! I politely said "FUCK THAT!" and have yet to contact COMCARE folks about MA state health insurance.
Now, although being fully aware that my life could be invariably worse, i'm extremely malcontent. I despise where i live, feel like i'm 15 again living in the home of my parents listening to black flag tapes, and feel very stuck. So i'm going to do something more interesting to stop envying the world and what i'm not exploring right now.

today/this whole weekend i chilled inside and it was great, rained alllll weekend, like constant heavy rain, nsw is flooding which sucks but a rainy lazy weekend was good for me.

Since it was equinox, left house at 515am with my partner to watch geese take off from the wildlife refuge. Popped microdose and drank coffee en route. Saw 1000s of geese, bigger than average ravens, and a kite. Housed a jalapeheddar bagel with cream cheese, guac, and lox, and a 3rd cup of coffee before 9am. Got home, stretched, went to farmers market, bought my lady and I fresh pressed juices, did a short scenic sorta loop since rain stopped for a bit, sun came out and everything is wicked green. Then i came home and left again for the water store. Planned on skate shop but accidentally left most money at home, so i got a hop tea and went home.Did some pullups and leg raises. Its 1230 or 1pm. Kinda felt run down from Pfizer vaccine so I tried to hang on SLAP but felt lousier sitting still, so I went outside and messed with grass, dirt, weeds where I want to put my garden beds this year. Tried to remove the head from a broken pitch fork and realized I need an angle grinder. Felt shitty again so I did a few more pull ups but it didn't help, so I went in and made a shake with medicinal mushrooms, marine collagen, banana, peanut butter powder, h2o and macademia milk substitute, put it down and watched videos online. Started feeling good again so I walked down to the paved road to throw some no complies and practice pushing switch, sw 180s and sw Ollies. Found 3 heads up pennies in the street. Pushed around for the length of Run Come Ya! and walked back home. Drank 2 mason jars of water and picked up yard tools. Ate leftover mujadara with white basmati. Played guitar for a few. Smoked my partner in Scrabble. Now im on slap again and listening to a solid female artists themed reggae show, celebrating women's history month on local radio station.

Seeing as my day just started I’ll go over yesterday.
Woke up at 0330, took meds, got dressed/packed my bag for work. Drove to work, pretripped my truck, smoked a grit, drove to 711 and got a Red Bull, drove to the wastewater treatment plant so I can dump my truck. Emptied out my truck of all the septic sludge, planned my route for the day, and took off. Worked in a few subdivisions right next to one of my favorite local parks, took a break at like 1 and had another Red Bull and watched skate videos for half an hour. Went back on route, right next to one of my best buddies houses, he swung by with his kid and dropped off a board box so I can send @Thom some goodies from Texas. Showed/let my friends son use the hose to suction out a portapotty, said it made his day which was tight. Made through most of the day surprisingly clean, but, the next toilet I cleaned the hose clogged and created an air pocket on the line that spit out a lot of sludge all over my pants. Bummed, I drench my self in bleach and finish my route. Drove back to the shop, did my post trip, shit, showered, then clocked out. It’s now about 6pm, drove home, did homework and fell asleep at 9.
Mixed in was listening to music and texting my wife and the homies.

Wake up at 8 am, go to school. Online school until 12:30. Listen to Yeah but Still, drink some water and unload the dishwasher. From there, meet up with my friends and bike around. Went thrifting, found an abandoned building, and then it started to rain so we went to Speedway to grab some shit than started biking home. Got home, found out the rain wasnt that bad, and then took a nice walk to the store and chilled at the park across the street, walked home, and then went to film class. Was in film class until 8, made myself some Curry fish for dinner, then made some pants and went to bed

Drove 4hrs to Grants Pass, OR, skated a funky park for an hour, helped some little kid named CJ who was doing his homework at the skatepark straight-out his bike handlebars after he ate shit in the deep bowl. I'm spitting some wu tang, skating the wall ride and he says "excuse me sir, you look stronger than me. can you help fix my handlebars. I fell in the bowl." so I did that, skated some more, Left park, drove to my friends spot in the country about an hour away to scope a job. kicked it for an hour or 2, got it the car and drove back home. Ate more beef jerky and chocolate in one day than I may have ever done before. now I'm going to take a shower and chill

Spent like 20 bucks on rental bikes, but I took one through the stockton tunnel which was fun as hell. Rolled around on the embarco bricks but my legs were soggy from biking so much and I stomped a shuv it with a wheel on my big toe somehow. Unemployment has been treating me right but geez louise I need a job

Told my land lord my life aint where I was hoping it would be and im likely going to leave LA, and he should find someone else.
Caught one instacart order, completed that. Ended up near el sereno skate park. Big brazalian crew there, with a few japenses girl skaters, I mostly skaed flat then hit the ledge.
Went on omegle, chatted with a few people. On slap now. Gonna feel guilty not doing job applications today. Plan on trying to chase some tail, watch tv, and play chess.

Today was pretty good! It was nice and gloomy out so I stayed in even though I'm feeling better after being kind wiped out by the vaccine hangover yesterday. Caught up with an old friend I hadn't talked to in a while, texted another friend following up about him maybe helping me get a job where he works (fingers crossed), made some homemade mayo because I was craving a turkey sandwich with tomatoes and mayo sounded perfect for that, watched some shit on youtube, did some pushups, and I'm visiting my parents so I hung out with their dogs a bunch. They got home from work, we grilled up some salmon and peppers and made a ceasar salad to go with. Had a couple beers in the back yard with my dad and just chatted for a while. Then I made myself a mug of hot chocolate and fiddled with my resume and applied for a couple jobs since I've realized I'm not really keen on going back to bartending. Working on my third nalgene of water for the day because I'm trying to stay more hydrated this year. Just bought a couple new games that were on super sale on steam, excited to check those out tomorrow.

Took the week off and today was the second day I had zero motivation to do anything and was starting to feel shitty and depressed about it. Then I got a call from my friend who is shaping me a surfboard to say my board was ready. He also has a backyard bowl. I haven't seen him since Covid, so we chatted surfboards, hit some pool coping, caught up and then the sun came out. He had to jet but I was feeling warmed up and wanted to keep skating, so hit some curb spots and did a few flat ground tricks first try which felt great. Then I went home. The wife and I purchased canned wine at the sketchiest 7-11 in out neighborhood, had a nice chat, argued a little bit, made up and now I'm thinking about bed and surfing tomorrow.

Semi-typical Friday for me.
Woke up, made coffee, woke up my older son, did his morning routine, drove him to daycare. Realize that now that I’m vaccinated I can join a boxing gym.
Came back home and did some design work, most of my meetings get cancelled because its Friday.
Unusual part of my day is that my coworker had this heart to heart with me on slack about parenting, and about how her sons grew up so quick.
My wife and I grabbed some lunch from our favorite Chinese restaurant. We debated whether the Falcon should be too famous to be denied loans on his tv show.
Kinda bullshitted the 2nd half of my workday, mostly listened to podcast, watch skate vids on YouTube, and designed a little bit.
Had Lasagna for dinner, played with the kids, put them to sleep, me and my wife watch a tv show together, she dosed off and now I’m playing a video game until I eventually pass out on this couch.

Laid down laminate floor on top of the old parquet in my dining room. Had to notch it around 20+ banister posts that separate it from the basement stairs. Nerve wracking as hell spending that much time on one piece that could snap in half like nothing. Please ignore the gaps that have yet to be caulked and all the other unfinished spots.

Today was pretty magic. I got up at 530am. Had a leisurely coffee. Hit the road and was at the beach by 9. The surf was already super crowded but I found a peak south of the pack and pretty much surfed alone for a couple of hours in really fun glassy bowly conditions. Dialed in a new surfboard and felt good about some waves I had. Then I went to a quieter beach and took a quick nap surrounded by stunning Oregon coast scenery on this balmy spring day. Took some photos. Next I Hit a nearby skatepark. Did not fall once... very weird... Finally, hit my favorite coastal taqueria for a few Tacos and to top it off I was home by 5pm which stoked the wife out.

My dad came down yesterday since we’re all vaccinated. Hadn’t seen him in person for over a year. Went fishing this morning, didn’t catch anything but it was still fun. Got lunch and hung out in the back yard. Teaching my son how to play chess after dinner. He’s getting the hang of it. Debating going to bed, it’s not even 8pm.

Serious question, legit parquetry is nice as could it not be restored or was it all fucked? I never done much finish carpentry but yeah I am seeing them as tiles and absolutely would a pain in the arse cutting all that in, maybe bog the hectic ones but yeah silicon will cover the rest easy as

The parquet wasn’t beyond repair, and I know it’s structurally better than laminate, but it just looked pretty dated and clashed with all the other renos we’ve done/plan to do. Plan is to use paintable caulking around the base of the posts, then paint the whole railing in a semi gloss black. Then install trim/moulding around the opening, finish the baseboard, etc etc.

Got running this john Deere hand held/gas powered combo line trimmer/brush cutter/roto-tiller and went to fuckin town tearing up the ground for planting. Felt good to get it running and better to turn the soil. Lots of worms, beetles, and ants. Did some yard work for the seniors who live next door and the lady across the street who let's us use her trash/recycling for free. Stoked on the space for the garden. Gonna be bigger than initially planned.

I worked on my truck with my buddy all day. It’s 1988 s10, so after going to three different pick a part lots I finally found the parts in needed. I put on new headlights, a new 160 degree rear view mirror, new internal lights, fixed my ac and replaced a couple different dash units. I also put in cup holders, but I didn’t have long enough self tapping screws so I had to use an old snapped deck and drill that in then drill the cup holders into the deck. I didn’t feel like sawing at 830 at night so we just made sure it wasn’t interfering with the shift pattern and set it in. Fun day of work to be honest. For reference the snapped deck was a 9.4 heroin razor top egg.

Woke up a little later than usual because the window had been open all night and the air felt good for sleeping and then went to the place where we get coffee and toast on Friday mornings. On Friday I have coffee with sugar and cream, like its a breakfast treat. Other days its only black coffee. After getting served we walked up the road to the cliff that's over the harbor. Watched seals on the rocks and ravens searching for nesting material hop in scrub grass and dirt. Went home and checked some shit online before doing work in the yard. Himalayan blackberries are growing in fast and need to be contained by way of machete. Chopped vines. Started blazing a little. Drank more coffee. Went inside to work for a bit. Finished work and drove to the beach. Walked around a while so I could see the 4oclock sun at different vantage points over the ocean. Drove home. Blazed a bit more and ate a gummy for pain relief. We drove for burritos, ate them and are now back home. Provably going to play scrabble and listen to Friday night radio show.

I went to church this morning, then directly to the skate spot.
Third consecutive session in three days (we have Good Friday of), now I can‘t feel my legs.

Spent 5 hours working in the garden. Started preparing some T.Pachanoi for a future trip. I promised myself that i'll re-visit my plant medicines this year. I stayed away from them while I was taking SSRI's but now that i'm off them and have also overcome my physical injuries I think it's a good time to jump back in.

I went to the park again.
It was a good session. I closed the park and I only got a few real tricks. My layback front rock is so frickin nice. I can put my whole body on the ramp now slide and roll to continue my line.
I'm trying to LB fr Rock and shuffle mid slide back to Fakie but I'm all out of speed by the time I hit the bottom of the tranny so it doesn't count if I can't do it in a line.
Lines are all that matter to me.

woke up after sleeping really, really well due to a 14 hour work day, had some coffee, went for a walk with the lady. ate the increased psilocybin microdose, kicked around the house for an hour and then went skating in the parking lot for a couple hours. Really, really locked in with the ability to focus today. I'm gonna attribute it to the .3grams of mushrooms. Skated around listening to Hank, Patsy, and the Talking Heads. Felt super loose and relaxed. Came home and had a shake, iced ankle, dicked around. Drank more coffee. Stretched. Went to the water store and talked to the water store lady. The old jazz man was back in there doing some work. Hadn't seen brother Tom since Covid struck, so I was happy to see he's alive and well. Came home and talked to my mom on the phone. Went out for the vegan super nacho burrito and tried to skate some more but my ankle was too tired and I felt like I was going to get broke doing heel flips off a pad so I stopped and came home. Now I'm on SLAP and going to commune with the herb. blessing shalomies

Worst part is, that’s not the worst one I’ve ever seen or had to clean.
But in regards to cleaning the bombed out units like that here is my process -
The first thing you have to do is suction the bowl, because there’s going to be t shirts, pants, bandanas and other things people use to whip their ass after they shit their pants. It clogs the hose so it can make a bad mess even worse.
Once you’ve suctioned out the bowl you prep your cleaning equipment and chemicals and you put a packet of blue chemical into it, which is what makes the water blue. It also dissolves the tissue and breaks the shit down. But only when the water’s blue. When it’s brown like that, it’s just a shit filled sludge pit.
Personally, I have a few bottles of bleach on my truck at all time and some really strong acidic cleaner, which requires a hazmat endorsement on your CDL.
What I do is I’ll spray the cleaner, use my scrub brush to loosen up as much as possible, then pour bleach on it and let it sit for a few minutes, then put more acid on it. It creates a weak form of mustard gas, so it’s important you let it air out and mask up when working on.
Once the bleach has set in I go back at it with scrub brush and get the remainder off. Then I hose it out, to get all of the stray bits out and clear out the mustard gas.
Then I spray smell good spray and a different and weaker acid on the surfaces and scrub them down. After the surfaces are scrubbed I add five gallons of water and move on to the next unit.
An average unit takes about 2-3 minutes to clean, but a super fucked up one can take over 20 minutes. The length to clean it can really fuck up the timing of your day when you have 100+ toilets you have to clean.
Also side note, when ever I find super fucked up racist scribbling on the walls, I will obviously put a smart ass retort and occasionally use the acid to get it off if it is really fucking bad. But, I will always make that hell noxious gas, close up the door and not allow any airflow. It eventually clears out, but I always hope the first person in there is the one who wrote the bigoted shit.

Been working a bunch and had my first semi-free day in a while. Woke up around 10, didn't have a single piece of food at the house so skipped breakfast. No coffee left either. Was about to go to store, but played COD mobile for like 4 hours. Started to feel like shit but had to do a couple work things that took kinda long. Got some gnarly mayo-ham-jalapeno-avokado pizza at 5pm, ate it laying on the bed while watching some series and that made me feel even worse. Took a two hour feverd after meal rest and then took a gnarly mayo-ham-jalapeno-avokado dump. Went to help this girl put some signs and shit on her walls. Could've gotten laid but decided to fuck off as I felt the rest of the mayo-ham-jalopeno-avokado pizza starting to make it's way through. Got home, took another dump, watched netflix, forced myself to masturbate once and played COD mobile untill 2am.
I hate people who plan and structurize their off days with passion, and usually just go with the flow but this day really wasn't a great one

That’s intense. I have a weak stomach for smells and would throw up a lot if I had your job. I guess you never know what your walking into when you open up that door. Sucks there are people who purposely dookie all over the place and leave you a mess.

It’s funny after about the first day on the road and the first time getting shit on you, you get used to it really quick. I’ve had much worse jobs and I had to burn shit when I was in the marine corps, so there’s also that.
Not gonna lie, I’ve definitely thrown up before. But I will take cleaning blown up toilet or one that’s been tipped over, over being a trash truck driver and getting stabbed with a syringe again.

Today I woke up and it was raining hard, which is the best. Laid in bed an extra 30 just listening to it. Drank a lil coffee, then did my taxes and got a nice little return coming my way for the first time in a few years since I had a regular tax situation in 2020 8) I'm on spring break and spent the rest of the rainy day recovering from two long days of skating. Just watched TV and cooked for my girlfriend.

woke up and signed up for full time grad course work for next year. Wasn't sure that I was going back, but am committed to doing therapy with people. went for a walk with the lady. saw a few cats but my favorite is the one that looks like a sable German shepherd. Filled the coffee mug and took the car to go skate. did really do much because I was tripped out by all the kids back at the high school next door. haven't seen that many people, let alone kids, in one place since this Covid era began. drove home. talked to someone. started building more beds for the gardens, moved dirt. made shake for lunch and listened to tail of Democracy Now! listened to the radio and got good news about a job I'd done. Used computer for a short time. There will be more work! Did some more organizing in the crib. Went back outside to keep working on the garden stuff. Decided I wanted these beds to look a little nicer than the last ones, so I put to use the skilsaw, sander, impact driver, and circular saw and thought that I should put my boots on instead of flip flops but didn't. Beds came out fairly uniform considered how many different pieces and cuts of lumber were used. Was putting collapsable metal saw horses away and dropped one one my sandaled big toe. Although it bled a lot and he fucker was heavy, I didn't seriously injure the toe. Fuckin thank goodness. Lady came home with hardware cloth for bottom of beds, so I cut and stapled that shit on all but one. Cutting the hardware cloth with only small snips/wire cutters was kind of meditative. Cleaned up work stuff. Ate some eggs and potatoes in a wrap, half avocado with sea salt, carrot and orange bell pepper slices. Showered. SLAP. Soon Bed.

Lady and her small dog were being approached by this friendly looking lost black lab (had a collar, well fed etc) when out of nowhere a smaller looking German Shepard type dog started attacking her/her smaller dog. I ran over an restrained the lab and was trying to calm it down as it seemed riled up by the other dog. Poor little dog was getting mauled and my biggest thing was "I do not want to see this poor little dog mauled to death by some asshole's escaped, ill trained dogs." I have to believe both of these dogs escaped from the same household at the same time. Both lady and her small dog ended up being relatively OK but they had to go to the vet/hospital for dog bites.
