I bet it's go down to who's fittest, on form, had their vaccine, got their travel papers and can pass the drug test(s). That's who's going. If more than 2 of those prerequisites are a fail, they aren't going.

I don’t think that’s the case. I know at least with snowboarding no ones had to leave sponsors or anything. I think there’s rules about what Branding can be visible. Again in snowboarding, no one had sponsor stickers on there boards like you’d usually see at a contest, but any graphics/branding on boards was visible. So it seems like if the “equipment the athlete is using is off the shelf” it’s fair game. You’d probably run into issues if you had a board with all your sponsors logos printed on the bottom lookin like a nascar.

Either way, fuck the IOC.
