What I meant was, Team U.S.A. made it to the finals without a Hiccup. They didn't loose once on the way (ie. unlike Canada who lost to the states in the round robin) and they didn't have trouble with any other team on the way (unlike Canada who almost lost to Slovakia after having a 3-0 lead).

So they technically were the stronger team throughout the tourney, but Canada took down the final game so thats that, but it was way too close going to OT like that.

Yep, Canada won and had a very good team.  But give respect where its due and dont be arrogant.  They didnt dominate shit.  USA deserved to be in that gold medal game every bit as much as Canada if not more, and they came very close to prying the gold from their clammy, poutine eating fingers.

yeah they did have a tendency to chew through everyone they faced with relative ease. but like i said before, it didn't feel like they had been really tested before the final. i felt like they got off easy a few nights. they didn't have to play the russians, the swedes, or the slovaks and the no one showed up for the fins. however, i wouldn't dare say they weren't a scary team, they were fast as hell and had plenty of tricks and clutch players to work with and seemed to have every bounce go their way. when parise plugged that tying goal, my money was on them to take it in over time. glad it didn't go that way.

I was in two playoff pools this year, I won 200$ last year when I won but this year Im not liking my chances, the good thing about being in two pools was I picked players from opposite teams for both my teams so no matter who wins I will always have player moving on, makes it really fun to watch

I like Jersey too but I liked them last year and they sucked....they can score this year though and have a new coach....Philly's a bit of a wild card though...I don't think they can go deep but could they upset?  I think the Nashville/Chicago might be a close one....
