I am quite sure they know their boards suck and press different ones for their team...
I had a few girl boards 6 or so years ago. They all broke skating flat before the second ply was worn through. I get it, how you land is a factor, but here they just felt super brittle, total shit compared to Dlx/generator. Being 6 ft 2 I know that I can gauge board quality better than someone a foot shorter than me. Chapman and generator are my boards of choice.
So, a Girl pro sent my good friend some of his personal boards, they are buddies. My friend blessed me with one because he doesn't skate anymore. It was probably the best board I ever skated. By the time I stopped skating the board it didn't even have stress cracks, and I only did stop riding it because my trucks, bearings, wheels were pretty shit so I bought a new complete. Still have the deck as backup.
If you are a board company, shouldn't it be your primary mission to provide your customers with the best quality board possible? Selling shit product to kids/shops and providing your team with top quality boards is pretty questionable.
