Not really science and not actually a podcast, but this channel does solid work:

Ask Ronna is a good one if you like comedy/advice answering

Newcomers is about two women comedians (Lauren Lapkus, Nicole Byers) going through tons of movies (Star Wars, LOTR, MCU) that they’ve never seen before

I was a big fan of Switchblade Sisters, which was a female host/female interviewee podcast about genre movies. It ended but there are still 80 or so episodes to listen to.

Periodic Talks

I didn't listen to all of them, but I have enjoyed the ones I've listened to. But I also like Gillian Jacobs, I think she's usually pretty entertaining.

And for a non-science related, but female hosted podcast, I love the earlier episodes of Call Chelsea Peretti. She's fucking hilarious and the show is absurd.

Scrolling through the ones I regularly listen to made me realize I'm kinda a podcast misogynist, only one is True Anon which is co-hosted by a woman

lol and I actually hate when they have Amber on Chapo, although she’s barely ever on anymore.

Maybe this is something I should talk through with my therapist…

Yes! And I usually dislike their live episodes, but the recent one they were on was really good

I listen to The Office Ladies Podcast. It's Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey doing a rewatch of The Office and they just breakdown each episode and add in some fun facts and  BTS stories. They do a lot of interviews with the cast and crew as well.

Last Day from Lemonada Media is really good. Listened on Spotify. Three seasons so far dealing with suicide, guns, opioides, addiction, trauma in the US. Its fucking heavy to listen to at times but it really got me thinking about stuff going on i  my family and my own life. Highly recommended, also backs up stories with scientific data and has experts on the Podcast.

Check out my homegirls Katie and Kimber on A Date with Dateline. They're super nice and are all about shaming murderers. Momcore in full effect!

Yeah, that’s what they’re saying. They are doing a life abortion fund fundraiser show tonight with Pod About List and then it’s the end of Amber. Also LMAO

I'm living in Ladytown when it comes to podcasts. My friend Tressa hosts The Asylum: Case Studies where she and a different weekly guest take a look at an Asylum mockbuster.

Genetics Unzipped is hosted by Kat Arney, is pretty good, relatively indepth and occasionally gets some of the big names in the field being interviewed.

Natalie Haynes stands up for the classics is focussed upon historic/mythological figures, mostly Greek. Truly outstanding and unique presentation of actually interesting stuff.

Short cuts, headed by Josie Long, is always excellent. How to Fail by Elizabeth Day can occasionally get interesting guests. Two of these aren't strictly podcasts, but are occasionally added to and widely available

Talk Nerdy is a podcast by Cara Santa Maria that is 100% science. She also has hosting duties as 1/5 of the cast of The Skeptics Guide to the Universe. These are science heavy podcasts that I highly recommend to all real nerds.
