Been hearing that Nike SB is looking to cut a lot of the 'team' heading into 2018.
Yoshi Tenenbaum just posted this on Instagram, so you get some idea of the kind of skaters they're looking to get rid of.
Apparently they're no longer interested in anyone who isn't going to
a) Be in the Olympics/Street League; or
b) Be super on trend/popular (a la Cyrus Bennett, Oski, Kevin Terp, AO, and so on)
Basically everyone middle of the road is going to get cut so they can condense the team, which they feel needs to build an 'identity' and they're trying to shake the 'everybody is on Nike' persona.
If anyone cares.
