I had a pair of DC's once. I was in the 5th grade... they were the blue spectres. I begged my mom for them for a year before I finally got them... the first day I got them, my step dad made me take them off and throw them in the dumpster because he thought fat shoes with the laces tucked in were for thugs.

i also like that TFUNK kid - but i think he is already 17... he just looks younger.
so maybe you can imagine how he skates next year.

So sorry for the confusion, but Morgan isn't flow? I just thought that the canadian team = flow, or at least wasn't equal status to the american team

no one said the status was equal to the american team. morgan gets paid by dc, flow dudes dont get paid.
edit: also the guys on the international team get dc ads in magazines and taken on trips, flow dudes generally just get shoes and gear.

yeah I get that, but I mean usually the "canada" teams are just a synonym for flow. like remember in 2007 when DGK canada was basically just the bigggest flow team in the world?

^ funny u say that. without naming names I knew a canadian guy who was direct flow for zero, and wasn't getting paid. meanwhile at least one guy on the zero canada flow team was getting paid(albeit thru a distro and not money from zero per se). it's just a weird thing to think about. all in all its still gotta be better to be direct flow, way more opportunity
