My Gift to SLAP
« on: December 23, 2008, 05:59:29 PM »
I was feeling really productive today and decided to go through some of my old magazines from 1996-1998 and scan some pictures. There's some other random ones from after that time period as well, but not many. Some of these may have been previously posted by The Police Informer or Bobshirt, but I'm pretty certain most have not. Anyway, Happy Holidays Slap Pals! I got a kick out of seeing some of these so hopefully you guys are psyched on some of them too.

This is the Shorty's post:

Toan Nguyen Check Out

The Muska

This one had me cracking up, so I scanned it. I don't know? Maybe it's just me? At least there is a skateboard in the picture unlike his ads in recent times.

This guy wasn't on Shorty's, but his name is Shorty.

I'll post the rest in a little bit. Until then, here's a picture of Cardiel from the first issue of The Skateboard Mag. It's not very old, but it's a Cardiel photo I don't recall seeing on here before.

Kenny Reed

Quim Cardona

Had both of these hanging up next to my computer at the shop I ran during this period. Kenny Reed was unknown but you knew he was going to recognized. Style for days. Quim, too. I would stare at that front nose while waiting for the snot noses to get out of school. All Day I Dreamt About Skating.
