Okay I know this might sound dumb, however I am new to the idea plus skeptical about buying used/new gear from you guy's.
Do you guys have stuff on Ebay or some other site similar? if so how can I buy from you guy's without getting ripped off?

Pretty safe through PayPal. Just be clear in the description when sending money what it is you’re purchasing and the condition, so if anything sketchy happens, you can escalate it and get PayPal involved. I wouldn’t worry on here, though. If anyone pulled any scams it would be made known.

See to me I like the idea of buying off Ebay via paypal so no issues or bullshit scams, not saying anyone on here would butttttttt I protect my interests when buying online.

People pull scams on eBay every day. There is no 100% safe guarantee when purchasing online. No one on SLAP is asking, “can you wire transfer me the money to this sketchy bank account? I promise you’ll get the items you’re buying”. It’s paypal or venmo transactions between two people who love skating. Better here than some random eBay user who’s selling a super cheap skate item with no returns allowed, only for you to receive it with shitty packaging and find out it wasn’t as advertised.

I wouldn’t buy from a user who had less than 100 posts or if I wasn’t already somewhat familiar with their username.
I’ve bought and sold on here.
eBay can seem safer but it’s a huge pain in the butt for a person selling the item.

If you can’t trust your Pals, who can you trust? If I sell something cheap though, I make sure that shit gets sent to me as friends and family because PayPal is a bunch of greedy fucks. Gonna charge me to get money and then charge me again to transfer it to my bank account.

Use PayPal when buying off of someone. Get an invoice with the description of what you're buying. It's relatively easy to get money back through PayPal if something goes wrong.
