I dunno man, sometimes i like rolling around with my homies while my wife likes doing stuff with her lady pals... if we hung out all day then skated together all night we'd probably get on each other's nerves.

I know two skaters that are dating. They get into weird tiffs about what to skate from time to time. SHe only skates tranny, and he likes street too. Kiinda funny

And did anybody else notice that Marisa did that frontboard down that big rail twice? The time with the line the filmer ended up with his hand on the rail, the second clip there is no filmer. I'm pretty sure its the biggest rail I've seen a girl skate, and she skated it twice.

Also I think part of people getting so hyped about this part is that nobody really saw it coming. Everybody else skated at a level we kind of expected, even though it was a pretty high level. With her part, it was something that I don't think anybody has ever seen from a girl. It wasn't just next level shit, it was like 5 levels up, and nobody else did that in their parts.

i was pretty stoked on her part she def raised the bar.  i'll just always be perplexed as to why girls can't skate at a level comparable to men, it isn't like organized sports, where theres institutions barring them and discouraging them from participating, they're given an equal starting point, so why other than the obvious genetics answer can't they?

I don't know. I genuinely don't pay attention to the x-games. I just thought I heard a little while ago that she quit all of her sponsors and went to college.

Marisa's part just had a rad energy to it. Watching it the first time, I kept thinking "holy shit - a girl is doing this." But now I just watch it like any other part and it gets me stoked. She just seemed like she was totally going for it with that footage, & that's part of the stoke factor.

I also dug Elissa's part. Marisa might have the gnar but Elissa's still got the style.

ive seen like one legit girl skater in real life, she had flip tricks down to an art and beat my buddy at skate, her ass was really nice too!
