No idea why, but after re-installing the Facebook app, Slap has been running way smoother.  It was super slow and unresponsive after I deleted fb, now it's good as new.  Also, the Eagles are pretty stupid but The Long Run is a sweet jam.

Getting to hang out with a bunch of homies I never see at sxsw. Seeing Pat Duffy, Justin Strubing and Kenny Anderson shred a mini. Simply seeing Julien. Meeting Kevin Baker from All Pigs Must Die and becoming friends with nos.

I kinda hate you for that. I'd love to see Justin Strubing skate a mini ramp and I love every band Kevin has sang in.

It was awesome.  Very, very surreal for Kevin and I to connect on a lot of levels.  No clue when it would happen, but we talked about me coming up to New England to ride motorcycles together.

Seeing Strubing skate was pretty awesome.  So much natural talent.  Julien's been my skateboard idol forever.  I haven't been around a pro in probably a decade so it's weird seeing dudes that good in person.

i saw julien at a skaterock thing at a bar just over a year ago. i was walking into the smoking section to get to the band room and he was walking out. as soon as i saw him i stopped in my tracks and just stared at him. he looked at me like i was regular for about two seconds and then walked past me. it was one of the greatest moments of my life.

That's from a little film project he's working on with Harmony Korine.  I think it's called Zeroville, but I am not 100%.  Apparently they're scenes of gang violence and they used real knives.  With Korine involved, who knows?

Is it gonna be a little indie film? Art film? Didn't Korine direct Kids and Gummo? That name looks familiar.

In the last two weeks, I skated more than the last six months combined. Its great to be back on the board, with my knee working good and in full strength, I feel like a little kid again. Good times, and the weather is perfect, winter is finally over.

Yesterday, I acted in a little video project a friend of mine did for fun. The finished product turned out real nice. Here it is.

I have some friends from Mexico City staying with me and got a bunch of days off. I usually have to work 6 days a week so this is great. My friend Fernan is on a fucking tear right now too.

Went on a vacation last weekend to Arizona to see some homies for a couple of days.  Came back monday night, yesterday morning quit my job, going out there for good after I go on a Road trip to Kansas real quick this weekend to see some good friends.

I couldnt be more hyped on life right now.

A student in one of my classes who wears JANOSKI's came in with his arm in a sling and a bunch of bandages on his legs/arm and when questioned about his injuries he said he fell while bombing the bridge on his longboard.

I smiled.
