Almost got beat down by sheffey at his own bachelor party no?
I cound'nt remember was is it Butch one f the OG Z-boyz or karma Tsocheff who got in to it with good old Markovich. I was 16 and a bit tipsy myself but both were involved, Anyway it was confirmed Karma vs Markovich.

I've heard the Gino thing before too actually.  I heard it from someone that did work in the industry but not for any companies with affiliation to the man himself.  Could easily be some shit a rep made up or something.

I was told the other day that Gino is gay.
The idea never dawned on me but I like it.

Gino has a son, I understand and a beautiful wife, too...

so did Freddie Mercury
Freddie Mercury was never married nor did he father any children. Elton John however was married to a woman, is now married to a man and has two children from his current marriage.

Chris Pontius sayin in his BB interview that Danny Way would go to the border and shoot the mexicans jumping over the fence. Said Danny would drive around too and grab holda a dude on a motorcycle then gun it and push the dude over.

Not sure if it's legendary, but I remember years ago an extremely good Australian skater got sent to the US by his sponsors. Within days of landing there he'd had a fight with The Muska and was effectively black banned from the industry.

He repaid his sponsors by robbing them and skipping town.

I guess enough people are over it now... Jason 'Buzza' Burrows. Still the most naturally talented skater I've ever seen in real life, but, a total dirtbag it would seem. Also, happy to be corrected on it, but I think it's pretty universally accepted in Melbourne.

Are you serious? I never knew Buzza made it out of Melbourne let alone to the States. Who sent him there! Buzza is a rad dude that had a pretty shitty start in life that led to him making shitty decisions later in life. He was well known for being able to do any trick you could name and would regularly see a pro trying a trick at a demo and land it first try with them looking. Anyone know anything about a Trujillo/Karma fight?

Anti-Hero photo retrospective by Tobin maybe 15 years back had a photo of Tony all bloodied up saying "he got socked by Karma & had to tell his mom he slammed skating".

Seems like Bob & Andy got into it as well at some point; no surprise.

And of course everything about Eric J back in those days is legendary.

In the early 90's Karma got jumped by a car load of Nortenos, in broad daylight, and got hit in the head a few times with a 2 x 4. As the story goes, Alan Petersen ran away, to his credit he probably assumed Karma ran too and wasn't being whacked in the head with a length of wood.

One time someone sarcastically asked Karma for his autograph to which he responded 'Yeah, my knuckles on your forehead'.

i'm not sure if it were his wife but his gf at the time [99 maybe?] that prompted the whole ASR fight that never happened.

That ASR fight was so hyped back then, which for those who don't understand pre-Internet hype, was a big deal.

I remember waiting for each new issue of Skateboarder to see what was going to come of that . . .

. . . And nothing did!

From what I remember it was just T-Mo talking shit to Alva until he punched him and roughed him up a but but T-Mo didn't fight back or anything. I could have it all wrong.  Happened at some Euro contest, I'm sure someone knows it better than me

He was getting heaps of flow at the time so he could sell product to buy the ticket. He made it over there, and from what I gather, blew it within days.

Like I said, I think he's still the most naturally talented skater I've ever seen. It's a shame he never got that hug, because he was an amazing skater and could've gone far. I don't think he was a bad dude per se, but he always seemed ready to scam someone.

Dumb story..

I went to the states to stay with my friend in SF, Franco (amazing artist who did stuff for Deluxe, Blackbox etc) good skater and all round legend.

Anyway we were driving around and we see T-Mo.. Franco tells me to yell at him in my Australian accent. It was early so T-Mo is probably hungover or still drunk and he starts waving his arms around and looks like a rabid dog.

Anyway. I have a burner phone and Franco gives me his number. I called him so many times asking if he wants vegemite on his shrimp on the barbie and dumb shit like that.

T-Mo would just yell into the phone for ages telling me he was gonna kill me and shit like that. We would leave it on loud speaker and laugh and laugh.

Dumb story fin.
