Average board is 32”, judging from that pic the can is 28”-30”, standard wheelbase being less than 14.5”, so it’s at least double the size of an average wheelbase.
Yeah it’s not a fuckin Rubbermaid 55 gallon trash can, but saying it’s “barelly taller than the wheelbase” is such a wild distortion.
Why do people reach SO FAR to hate on this kid? He’s so undeniably solid on a board and insane to watch.

He's one of my current favorites. Wasn't hating. Just like anyone flipping over a table in the 90's or anyone who has ever been to a ledge filmed with a fisheye in real life, there is the moment of realizing something's true size. At the end of the day I still enjoy watching it and don't really see anyone else doing anything like that with as much pop and style, so I don't care.

this. you have to haul ass and hold that trick in the air for a while. i was able to do lots of shit over something the same height of a cali table, but i could actually do very little over the tables themselves.

Closest I've seen someone hating on Westgate is his sponsor choices.
There are a few guys you almost never see getting hated on top of those. Those were just the first 4 that came to mind. You rarely see hate on Suciu, Bobby Worrest, Lucas, or Brad Cromer. No one hates on MJ, Carroll or Rickk's skating but they do on their business and personalities.

He front boarded a moving bulldozer in April, dropped his 20 | 50 thing with Gonz over the summer, his cover to the January 2019 issue hit shops mid-November, BLESSED dropped on Black Friday, his trash can part dropped a few days afterwards on Thrasher, and he was awarded SOTY a few days into December:

Evan didn’t address that directly on The Bunt but they asked him about always being a SOTY contender but never SOTY and it was clear from his answer he never turned it down or whatever. He said he’s cool but he’d definitely be stoked to get it cuz he loves Thrasher and Phelps. He also said people didn’t realize he was hurt and not skating majority of 2018 so would’ve been weird to get it.

If I remember correctly Mindfield was in 2009 and Stay Gold and the Thrasher interview was 2010, but if it was all in 2009 Heath would've gotten it easily.
But again, doesn't matter because Cole winning made it clear it was about Phelps dick sucking (RIP) and opened up the conversation on how come Koston and Reynolds dont have 3 each. At least with Danny Way you could rationalize the time gap and Mega ramp stuff.
